Live down the street so I hit up Bills every now and then. The food is not bad, not amazing. Below is a review of what I've had there. Fish and Chips - Consistently good to very good. Probably the best thing I've had there. Fried to perfection every time. Fries are good too. You'll definitely get it again when you want fish and chips. Bills Special Grinder - It's an Italian Grinder. Nice bread and well made. Not the best grinder in RI, but will scratch the itch if you are in the mood for an Italian Grinder. Have gotten it multiple times. Pepperoni Pizza - Average, will get the job done. Very greasy which isn't necessarily a bad thing. They pepperoni are small and curl up (geek style). Based on it being so close to me, I get it if I want a pizza quick and don't feel like driving to Providence. Gotten a pizza there a few times. Buffalo Wings. - Ehh they are OK. Good flavor but not spicy at all and could be crispier and have more sauce. Would get them in a pinch, but given time I would go somewhere else. Veal Parm Sub. - Very disappointing. Good food. Nice place to stop with friends for a quick bite. The restaurant is in the process of re-organization. I had tried this restaurant a year ago and decided to return.The update looked great. I had nachos with chicken and a couple of drafts, and they were delicious. They had a nice takeout area. I understand the bar is being relocated which will make the restaurant even larger. Been here a few times both before and during their renovation. Pizza and appetizers are always phenomenal. The service is always very friendly and fast. As good as the presentation and flavors are in person; the baked feta just wasn't as good when ordered to go. This may very well be our favorite pizza place ever. I highly recommend the Mozza Caprizza, it sounds simple but it is so much more than a basic pizza and it is incredible. We have never ordered delivery so I couldn't say how that would go. read more

Restaurant is broken down into three parts and has an entrance on each end. All the way to the right is the bar, in the middle is the restaurant and on the left is the to go and cash register area. I of course when in the wrong area to pick up my to go pizza but the waitress quickly caught on and helped me navigate. The pizza all around was ok, EXCEPT they use canned mushrooms. Very disappointing to see that. I'll order from them again, but I'll double check next time to make sure my toppings are fresh and no frozen/canned. Even HOURS after consuming a portion of the veal parm that had a layer a cheese as thick as the meat I am still suffering. I've never had more indigestion in my life!!! Only now after puking my guts out do I feel better. I definitely wouldn't recommend the veal or the place in general. I was told "20-25 mins" for a take out order and it wound up being over 4O mins. The fish portion was good size the fries were under the fish and very skimpy. The fish had a good batter, but was frozen and tasted like fish sticks. Sometimes they have a super long wait and the to go area can be a little hectic but their food is always worth it.

We went in for dinner at 6:15pm (table of 3) and the hostess said the wait was "35 min". We were not seated until 7:40pm! Should have read the signs when we noticed that all the people seated looked annoyed that they had no food on their tables and were always looking around. Then after we were seated we waited 5 min and nobody said to us, we will be right with you. 4 different servers walked past us and looked at us as if nobody was assigned to our table. Not one person said they would be right with us. We got up and left at 7:47pm. And on the way out the server said "have a great night". THE WORST experience. Last time I tried this place the food was not cooked right and I gave them a second chance. We won't be back, and Im not sure too many of those annoyed customers will either. read more

Bills has been in this location for years and even though I've driven by a million times I had never been in until yesterday for Good Friday fish n chips. The restaurant looks nice on the outside and like a fancy pizza place on the inside. The take out counter is right on the left when you walk in which makes picking up your order quick and easy. The guy who cashed me out seemed cool and the prices are very reasonable. As far as the food, no complaints at all. The fries were different from your average pizza joint...very crispy and didn't seem frozen. The fish tasted fresh and had just the right amount of batter. Fried perfectly, I would definitely order it again. The only downside to the location is the parking out front is kind of limited and that area can be a pain to back out of..or even pull out of. Not too bad but other then that I can't wait to try other things on the menu :) read more

My husband and I just tried Bills for the first time. We have lived in the area for years and cannot believe we have been missing out all this time. The food is terrific! What a totally pleasant surprise! I've driven past Bill's a million and a half times and never gave it a second thought, but the hubs and I were looking to grab a quick bite close to home so we gave it a go. Parking is a little tough as there are probably only 10-12 spots on site. Many patrons end up parking on Main Street, which based on what I saw might actually be easier than parking in the lot. (Note: The place is separated into two sections: a lounge area and a dining area. My review is for the dining area only.) When we walked in we were told to grab a seat wherever we liked, and at nearly 7 pm on a Friday we had no trouble grabbing a seat. From what I saw it seemed that more people grab food to go rather than eating there. But it was hoppin' nonetheless. The beer list was pretty impressive, though options are primarily bottled. The specials were pretty appetizing, so we started with the fried raviolis which were fried crispy and delicious and served with a tangy marinara. So far, so good! Both my husband and I grabbed grinders, and my eggplant parm was awesome! And, huge to boot! I ended up bringing half the grinder home. What was best was the price: 2 beers, an app, 2 10" grinders = $36. And, the appetizer actually cost more than our grinders at $7.99. Bill's is a great spot for a night out on the cheap! read more

The waitstaff here is always very pleasant, they have an enormous menu and all the food has that nice homemade quality to it. It's not an average pizza place, but not a fancy restaurant either.
