But if you have that one dude who works there cut your hair... Well let's just say that I think he could screw up shaving a head. Dude's been there almost six months and I have no idea why. Every time I'm in there I see people say "I'll wait for her" and he goes unchosen, like a fat kid at recess- and there's a reason. He sucks. They need to fire his ass already. I let him cut my hair twice. Once when he got there (bad cut, Mindy had to fix his work) and once a couple of months later to give him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he'd learned. Nope. I ended up with another hatchet job I had to get fixed. Dude, it's a military barber shop! 95% of the clientele need skin on the sides, med/med-high fade, short on the top. How can you not get that right after 6 months? Just go to Kim's!

I look for 2 things: a consistent, skilled barber that understands hair patterns and what looks good - and then how to achieve it and someone I enjoy talking to as I'm there for an hour once a month. Chris nails it every time. He's open to feedback and I truly enjoy our conversation. We don't agree on every topic but he brings educated perspectives and is also a great listener.
