So - you get all three things with this contractor - Price - Quality - Service! When we decided to add a wrap around deck with composition decking to our existing deck and we were dealing with a ravine - we knew the price wasn't going to be in our favor, but it had to be done. My wife and I are doing everything we can now in order to remain in our home and have the ability to maintain it when life throws us severe aging issues. Mike came over, looked everything over and gave us a price - to be honest we were a bit shocked at the price. It really did seem high. Therefore we contacted another contractor who gave us an indication who we'd be doing business with. The third contractor never called us back - so we crossed our fingers and went with Mike - though he was highly recommended by others - the price seemed very different from the other and we just were not sure. When Mike got here and started the job - my concerns were all put to rest as I watched him meticulously begin working. He knew what he was doing and ensured that my new decking would probably outperform my old decking. He even was able to find the exact match to my old decking - along with railing too! Though the job isn't done yet - I am ready to give out 5 stars. I realize that I shouldn't be so quick to give out this rating and will update and change if need be, but summer is here and someone might need a job done by a pro, at a reasonable price with great quality and workmanship - Mike's the guy to call! 7-4-13 - 4th of July update: The job was done ahead of schedule and Mike and CJ actual finished the job on the fourth of July and to perfection I might add. We have already decided to hire them for two more job - a reconstruction of our front porch with composition decking and a new retaining wall for our parking area. Just prior to the recent COVID-19 shutdown, Stone Plumbing had come out to do a couple of small…read moreplumbing jobs I needed done. Scott was quick, professional, explained what he was doing and why, and left the job site completely clean, and charged a reasonable fee. Needless to say, I was very happy with his work, which was visibly better than previous plumbing that had been done at my house. At the time, I discussed some possible future projects with Scott, including the most pressing one: the so-called 'high efficiency' boiler for my house was failing, and late winter in Jamestown is no time to be without heat. Three other local plumbing/heating companies had worked on it to no avail, and two said they'd give me a quote on a replacement boiler, but never got back to me. Scott said he would work up a quote for me so we could address it quickly when I was ready to move forward. Shortly after that, the state shutdown was announced, and my boiler quit for good. While the other companies never responded to me, Scott called me back right away, got the new boiler ordered, and we were on our way. Within a few short days my old boiler was removed, replaced with a regular efficiency boiler that is working like a charm. Along the way Scott was able to work in a socially-distanced manner, easily fielded some unusual issues (we had to rent a 60-foot cherry-picker to get to the top of the very tall chimney stack to remove the old furnace lining and replace the chimney cover), and helped make a stressful situation easier to fix than I expected. All in all, I highly recommend Stone Plumbing for responsiveness, flexibility, excellent communication, and reasonable pricing. It was one of the most positive and professional experiences I've had with any home contractor in the last 20 years. They were my fourth call this time--but they got the job done that three previous plumbers didn't. They'll be my first call the next time I need any plumbing done.

I hired Fadale Enterprises to encapsulate my crawlspace, which at the time, was a dirt floor in…read moreAugust 2022. At the beginning of November 2022, flooding caused by heavy storms, overflowed a drainage ditch adjacent to my property, and caused damage that was not fixable. My house had to be lifted into the air and a whole new poured foundation and crawlspace installed. Fadale Enterprises assured me that the products/services could still be applied to the new poured concrete crawlspace. On multiple occasions, I was told they needed to be involved during the entire new foundation and crawlspace install process to make sure their products were installed properly. I live in Pittsburgh and trusted they would oversee this. Fadale Enterprises never installed or appeared on site to install the Sump Basin and Tile Drain like they had stated they would as "the company needs to see a project through from start to finish to control everything". That did not happen. The owner of the foundation company I hired had to drive to Fadale Enterprises to pick up the Sump Basin and Tile Drains to install them himself. The only items ever provided by Fadale Enterprises that are on-site at my property are: 1. Sump Basin 2. Tile Drain and Fittings These costs are listed as the first 6 items on their quote and they are below: $168 $48 $36 $32 $18 $112 Total: $414 of actual product is at my property. No labor by Fadale Enterprises has ever been performed. No other items have ever been delivered and/or installed at my property. So Fadale Enterprises never encapsulated my crawlspace, but kept my money. . After several failed attempts asking Fadale Enterprises that I be refunded for items that were never delivered to my property nor installed at my property, as well as no labor ever performed at my property by Fadale Enterprises, they have yet to return my $6756.
