After doing some basic troubleshooting - making sure the connections were fine and then swapping out Nest for my old thermostat, and seeing no improvement, I called for Birkley. They were able to come out to the house within a few hours, and gave me a courtesy call of 15 minutes prior to arrival so I could drive home. The technician went downstairs to do some troubleshooting, and while he was at it, he checked out the heating unit from top-to-bottom and gave it a good cleaning. Long story short, it ended up being that the neighbor had blocked the input/output pipes that led to the HE furnace. Once those were removed, the heating unit worked fine and now I have heat!
