Nice, cozy cafe/pub, the wood interior is nice and inviting. Apparently this is a chain, but did not feel like it. The service was friendly, very attentive, they kept checking in on us. There is a lot of choice on the menu and some interesting creations. The calamari appetizer was ok, but a bit too much breading for my taste. I like tasting the calamari itself a bit stronger. The haloumi sticks were allright, obviously this kind of cheese will be quite salty. I think it would have looked nicer with thinner sticks though and there should have been a sauce that paired better than the mayo-kind that was served, too generic. I really, really liked the pickled red onions that were served with the haloumi. The prawn cocktail was good, although this 80s classic is hard to mess up. The fish pie was pretty good and a big size portion. All the food tasted fresh. read more
