This pawn shop is located in a less than desirable neighborhood. It has been in business, it seems, since the first caveman traded his broken club to the second caveman, for his barely-used loin cloth. There is a lot of old stuff. A lot of tape cassettes. A lot of useless 'junk' that'd you'd find at any flea market. There are things piled dangerously and haphazardly in clusters. Lots of jewelry. If you dig long enough you may find something that belonged to you at one time and you just weren't aware it had been missing. They don't seem to offer very good prices for your goods. They are inflated on the goods they want to sell. I know they leave room, on the prices, for dickering, but sticker shock can scare away the timid, with them vowing to never return. They sell individual cigarettes to the inhabitants of this less than desirable neighborhood, because they can't afford a pack, until payday. If you do the math, at about $1.50 for 3 cigarettes, times 18 cigarettes, equals $9.00 for almost a pack of cigarettes. That is twice the cost of a pack of premium brands. read more
