The park has a water fountain for the dogs, basket full of toys, a covered pavilion with seating and also benches around the park. It probably gets really messy when it rains though because there's a large section in the middle with just dirt and very sparse grass. Oh and there's also convenient restrooms for humans between the big dog park and little dog park.

Front Beach extends for about a mile from the Ocean Springs Pier to the Ocean Springs Yacht Club. The beach is smooth and quite flat with a firm sand and a slow slope that allows you to wade out quite a bit before it even gets up to waist level. Fort Maurepas Park is nearby with a playground and volleyball nets. There is parking there as well as parallel along the beach side of Front Beach Blvd. The beach is clean and free from litter. Many of my summers were spent at Fritchie Park listening to just that. I was there for my daughter's soccer games, but the baseball teams had the larger lit up fields at the park, as well as an announcer that you could hear around the entire park. Ahhh, memories. Fritchie Park also has a small enclosed playground that is so shady if you need to entertain your younger kids. It's got all the equipment they'll want and some nice benches for you to chill out on. Very popular with locals. Public Restrooms consist of a trailer, very clean but not handicap accessible. Very clean, no pet droppings or litter. Pet waste bags and stations throughout. One part of park with boat launch and docks face the water near the shipyard, the other side of the park leads directly onto the beach. Beach has a picnic area with four BBQ grills. Lots of people walking/ walking digs/jogging. Park is along Beach Blvd only 1.6 mile walk/ drive from another park, Pascagoula Beach Park.
