Seafood banh canh is the Banh canh of my dreams Broth is thick and super flavorful , your cholesterol levels will say hi If only the noodles could have a better chew Expensive @ $22? But huge portion too + comes with lots of seafood (abalone/shrimp/etc) Chicken udon $12ish Nice when you don't feel like pho. Chicken has a little bite to it, but I enjoyed this dish overall. Unsure of if they'll ever allow cc payments ..cash/zelle when we went

Special Binh Canh Duong Crab Udon (with Abalone, Scallops, Squid, Shrimp and Crab)

So, whenever my friend and I fly out of town, she takes me to lunch to thank for me for driving her home. I don't mind as everyone knows the way to my heart ... FOOD! We end up in a plaza on Bolsa for some Seafood Udon. Any plaza in Garden Grove - I shouldn't have to explain parking. Free but good luck finding a spot when it's busy. And for some reason, in the rain and well after lunch (2:30) the lots were still packed. Walked in. Good sign. Pretty full. And all Asian. Call me nuts but if I walk into an Asian restaurant and there are no Asian customers, I turn around and go elsewhere. Service was great. Sitting right next to the main thorough fare from the staff helps. But on top of that, we did explain it's our first time so the staff seemed to focus on making sure we had a great experience. Everything from explaining the dishes to bringing us (me) more condiments to spice it up even more and refills - all just happened. Then the food. Piping hot. Burned the roof of my mouth even after taking time to take pics (for Yelp of course). There was abalone, crab, scallops and shrimp. And Udon. All in a nice hot, spicy broth. Well, I added more - not because it wasn't hot/spicy - but it was chilly and raining and that's just how I roll. My friend took a pic of my empty bowl to show how much I hated my dish. I basically licked my bowl clean. Well, not literally but there was no broth left. This was my first meal of 2026 back in California. And it was excellent.

Whenever I'm craving mi xao gion (crispy fried noodles), I always head to Binh Duong. It's an assuming place located in a strip mall in Little Saigon with ample parking. The service is quick and friendly. Their mi xao gion is so crispy, flavorful, and the sauce isn't overpowering. They even cut their vegetables for easier eating! Crispy fried chicken with rice is amazing, with crunchy skin and piping hot meat, accompanied well by their friend rice. The restaurant decor is nice, clean, and welcoming. Only downside is payment is only via cash or Zelle.

I think I finally found the best place for my favorite dishes, Bánh Canh Cua and Hủ Tiếu! I've tried both so far, and they were absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted fresh, and the toppings were prepared well. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy when I visited, they clearly maintain the quality of their ingredients. At other places, I've sometimes noticed that the meat tasted like it had been prepared the day before -- not spoiled, just not as fresh. If you cook, you know that overnight meat has a different texture and flavor compared to meat prepared the same day. This place truly stood out for its freshness and quality. I'll definitely be coming back

I would have never guessed how great this restaurant will be. It's tucked in a corner of a busy strip mall in the heart of Bolsa. I ordered banh canh, pho ap chao, and nuoc mía. The bánh canh is so amazingly good. I think the best in town. The broth is just right. It's on the thicker side which is what it should be. There's crabs, shrimps, scallops and abalones. Yes, abalones. Wow!!! So good!!!! You have to ask for rau răm just in case it's not in the bowl. The pho ap chao is also the best I had since mì phát kỳ. What makes the mi xào don or pho ap chao is the sauce. Perfectly done! The combination has heart and liver too and they were very fresh! This is a best kept secret in town! I'll be back here often. No doubt. For Thinsulin fans, there's not many green light options.

Saw someone posted the banh canh cua dac biet (special udon noodle soup) so I had to give it a try. Very big portion and came with abalone, scallop, squid, shrimp, crab. It was a little sweet but delicious. Seafood tasted very fresh too. Highly recommended!

Rushed here at lunch hour today after seeing so many great reviews. I ordered the egg noodles house special, served dry, with the broth on the side. It came with sliced pork, shrimp, pig's heart, ground pork, chives, pork rinds, and bean sprouts. It took forever to get it. I was so disappointed at first bite because the noodles were so bland. Then I noticed a bottle on the table saying "Sauce for dry noodles". So I squeezed some over the noodles and also added a spoonful of chili paste. It made a whole world of difference. Very tasty. Whatever the "magic" sauce was. ;) Food overall was tasty. Service was super slow though.

Ordered the Mi Kho / Mi Xao (Dry Noodle, Stir Fried Egg Noodles) with combination of shrimp, pork, and liver. Comes topped with mung bean sprouts, asian chives, diced/fried pork belly, frief shallots, and a couple hand torn slices of romaine lettuce. It also comes with a side of broth. My mother ordered the Chao Ngu Vi (Rice Porridge with 5 toppings) which is a Chinese influenced dish. The topping portions made me think of Korean ban chan. My aunt ordered the Bun Rieu (Crab Tomato Noodle Soup) and she said she enjoyed it too. Overall it was a tasty and home-feeling meal. Highly recommend all the dishes we tried. We'll be back to taste their other dishes.

Saw this place off Tiktok and had to come try their banh canh. There was a lot of seafood, very tender and fresh. We also ordered a couple of other stuff but the hu tieu ap chao was my favorite. First time having it and it was super crispy. Everything was very yummy but keep in mind that everything raised up around $2 from the menu, so it's a bit misleading.

    Banh Canh Cua Dac Biet
    Diana P.

The food quality here is amazing! I had the banh canh cua dac biet and there's abalone and scallops in the bowl (in this economy?!). It was $20 for the banh canh and so worth it wish this was in SJ. Even the banh canh noodles tasted home made and not store bought. The lady running the store was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area. The owner lady said the their specialty dish is the duck passed down from the family recipe so I want to try that next. Also note: They don't accept card just cash/ zelle

Have been to this restaurant many times, and food is always consistent! Came visit to the restaurant last week, and ordered my favorite Grilled Escargot with Garlic Butter and Peppercorn, Grilled Scallops with Cheese, and my all-time favorite Chilean Sea Bass hot pot! The grilled escargots are a must-have when visiting this place! These are perfectly grilled with rich garlic butter for sweetness, and with a slight kick of spiciness from the peppercorn. Don't forget to also dip the escargot meat with black pepper and a few squeeze of fresh lime juice! If you like melted cheese, then the grilled scallops with cheese would be the perfect match. Each scallop is covered melted cheese and comes sizzling on a hot plate when ordered! Last but certainly not least, my favorite dish of this restaurant is the Chilean Sea Bass hot pot. The order comes with your own tabletop gas stove, along with a hot pot filled with a tom yum like sour soup base. For ingredients, it also includes a plate with slices of pineapple, quarter cut fresh tomato slices, fresh bean sprouts, rice noodles, and a full plate of large pieces of Chilean Sea Bass. Just put all the ingredients in the hot pot and let it cook for 5-10mins on high, I promise you it is one of the best soups you will ever have! Service is good as always. This place always seems to be busy, so you may have to be on the waitlist during certain business hours (eg holidays, prime dinner time, etc). Parking wise, the restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and so you may have to drive around a few times before finding an open spot. However as I said earlier, it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.

The escargot was a little chewy, but the savory sauce made up for it. For our main dishes, we ordered the Tom Yum seafood hot pot, which was just okay. We also had the deep-fried tilapia, which was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside. It's hard to go wrong with anything deep-fried here. Overall, the razor clams and deep-fried tilapia were the highlights of our meal. If you're willing to wait for a table, this is a good spot for fresh seafood with a few standout dishe

They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl.
