I have no idea why there are complaints of portion size. Fact is, they serve correct portion sizes i.e palm of your hand. Not obscene American or Aussie portions which is the road to Diabetes and Obesity central with multiple comorbidity freeway. I had the gluten free french toast topped with fruit salad and sweetened slightly with maple syrup. Excellent. The chai unfortunately was a tea bag, not proper chai hence only 3 stars. Full after my meal but wished I could have fit in their excellent gluten free dessert options. If I resided in Gran Canaria, this would be my weekly treat.

The restaurant is in a quiet street apart from the main area, its a small place but its quite posh and nice. We went in and told the waiter that Im a vegan so if there were any dishes available for me or could be made for me.. he said yes confidently and went to the kitchen to ask; he came back and recommend the dishes that were suitable for me. We ordered these but as soon as i ate the first dish i was sure that it had cheese..but i trusted the waiter as he was 100% sure that it was vegan, however when the second dish came out i could defo taste egg in it, when i asked him he said "well of course it has egg, how can you make Tortilla without egg?" So i replied "well you defo can make tortilla without egg, and me being a vegan i dont eat egg, and when you said it was vegan i assumed you know what it meant".... Aftee that he apologized many times, but the third (last) dish came it wasnt vegan either . We ended up spending a lot of money (expensive place) for not enjoying the experience just because of a misunderstanding. I obviously came out upset having eaten these ingredients, but i give the place a 3 star as it was good.
