From the owner: Our highly skilled, yet very affordable non-lawyer mediator services help parties resolve disputes…read moreprimarily concerning personal injury, products liability, construction projects, insurance, as well as a wide range of business matters. The mediation session can be conducted in full in person or via Zoom. We do not accept divorce or child custody cases. A mediator's role is to bring parties involved in an existing dispute to the table to facilitate discussion that will hopefully lead to a prompt and litigation-free resolution. If the matter is resolved, a court-enforceable settlement agreement is signed. During firm principal Tony Robinson's 45-year career as a commercial casualty claims examiner for multiple major insurance companies he has participated in well in excess in 200 mediations. In addition, he is an active member of the National Association of Certified Mediators. He holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco where he also studied law. However, we do not and cannot by law provide legal advice. We offer a free 30-minute consultation session at the outset to further familiarize the parties with the mediation process. At the close of the consultation period the mediator will ask each party if he or she wishes to proceed with mediation. If yes, payment of a non-refundable deposit of $400 will be due at this time. Our fee rate is $200 per hour with a minimum commitment of two hours. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and all major debit/credit cards.
