We have been in a lot of boutique stores like this and this is the ONLY one where we've seen this type of personalization on a multitude of very cool gifts for birthdays, weddings and special occasions. Then we looked around and found artwork and a huge variety of terrific items for our home - some sourced from local artists and some sourced from far off places. The one consistent thing we noted was the exquisite 'taste' of the owner/buyer. She has a real eye for great items at value prices. One of the finest retail boutiques we've ever visited and the first one I ever felt compelled to write a review about in two decades plus as a shopping couple. Come on?....cramped flowers put inside a box & shipped from who knows where by either FedEx or UPS? And then if the recipient isn't home, they'll leave the box at the door. Definitely not what I wanted. I chose Pocketful of Posies because they are local & close to where my friend lives - only 8 miles away & I like supporting small businesses! I had enclosed a card -- reread it three times & placed the order. After that was completed, I caught a typo on the card. Since the business was already closed because they are three hours ahead of California, I called the next morning and spoke to Karen. I told her my error & she would correct it. Karen also suggested that she could call my friend to make sure she would be home for the delivery, if that was OK with me & of course it was!
