First thing first, I love that they have ample parking. They have patio seating, and the inside is spacious. I came here for HH and ended up staying for reverse HH, while catching the game. Another great visit and this time it was for my favorite hour HAPPY HOUR! This spot is fun, vibrant and full of cool energy. I came here because of the good vibes! Shay my waitress was pleasant and friendly. The BIG booth in the bar area was cozy! The drinks were AMAZING and Delicious! The food was tasty and priced perfectly for happy hour. The frozen Sauvignon Blanc was wonderful. It was so refreshing and yummy. I ordered two and will be back for more SOON! The classic Margarita was STRONG and you could definitely taste the lime. It packed a nice punch of flavor. The burger was well seasoned and the waffle fries were filling. The lemon pepper wings were good, but needed to be fried a bit longer. I like a crunchy wing. I would get them again, but ask for them to be cooked harder so they can be crispy. I truly enjoyed happy HOUR! I left feeling satisfied and full. I can't wait to come back and try a flat bread. We took my father-in-law here because we've had very pleasant experiences in the past, but unfortunately this visit was incredibly disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited over 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table to greet us, offer water, or even acknowledge us. Our server only made his way over after my husband got up to ask if we even had a server. It almost felt as though he intentionally waited until we sought assistance. When he finally arrived, he seemed completely uninterested in being there. His uniform was noticeably dirty, and there was little enthusiasm or attentiveness throughout our meal. The flies inside the restaurant were terrible. We noticed other guests being provided with the fly-repellent fans, but our server never offered them to us. When we asked, we were told they didn't have any available because they were all being used outside. As for the food, it was mostly just okay. The famous Caesar salad wrap was very underwhelming, the fries arrived cold, and honestly, the tomato soup was the only standout item. Given the poor service, we closed our tab as soon as we finished eating because we were eager to leave. Ironically, we moved outside afterward for drinks, and that experience was so much better than our lunch experience. It was disappointing because we know this restaurant is capable of providing a great experience based on previous visits. My friend and I came to birdie's eastside for apps and drinks on a Wednesday night and when we got there, we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table which was great! It was pretty busy for later on a weekday night but the noise wasn't bad and we could yap. I ordered the wonton tacos as my main and they were delicious. We also got those trendy soft serve swirl margs and they were perfect. 100% would come back just for those, but I will be back to try other things on the menu. They also have a large outdoor area which a bunch of families were in and that was cute to see. read more

Birdies has good food, and their service was excellent... they also have a really nice outdoor area that's probably jam packed when the weather is nice. We ordered a few dishes and felt all of the food was good, menu is pretty standard for an American grill, which is probably a good thing for most and definitely a plus for families. So it's definitely worthy of a visit if you want a variety of well executed options, and appreciate good service. Came here after seeing a few pics online and we really enjoyed it!! It's a charming neighborhood type of place that's casual but thoughtful in the details. We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a Thursday so we were able to get seated right away but I could definitely see reservations would be helpful on the weekends. Me and my friend both had the Sauvignon blanc slushie and it was phenomenal!! She got the salmon and rice and said it was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap and would highly recommend! So much flavor (heavy on the garlic, just fyi but I didn't mind), tons of parm, and the waffle fries were well-seasoned and crispy. Birdie's Eastside is a lively place to bring your family and friends. There is a large patio outside and plenty of seating inside as well. There is a mix of booths, high top tables as well as low tables as well. Many families could be seen at the outside patio with kids playing in some of their open areas. We chose to sit inside and it was lively with music playing and conversations. I was able to hear the friends sitting next to me but was unable to hear other conversations in our group of 9. We had a choice of brunch and lunch items. I had the brisket tacos and a frozen Bellini. Both items were very good. You could tell the tortillas were fresh made which is always nice. Our group ended up sharing two desserts. One was an upside down pineapple cake and the other was a s'mores cake. Both were very good. Birdie's is a place I would bring friends for a casual meal and drinks. It has a lively atmosphere that puts one in vacation mode. Service was friendly and our group was not rushed through the meal. They were very good about giving you time and refilling drinks way past when most restaurants would have stopped. Overall, a fun place to hang out with friends with good food and drinks. read more

Came for happy hour with friends and stayed to watch the game. Isaiah took great care of us. There is a good selection of options on the happy hour menu, I opted for the smash burger. For $9 this is a steal! The burger was flavorful and the fries were fried perfectly. I also ordered the sundae and recommend it as well, it's a great way to end a meal. We absolutely love Birdies! We came here last weekend and had such a great experience that we couldn't wait to come back. This visit, I ordered the Vegan Harvest Bowl again because I loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately, it came out extremely salty. But what really impressed me was how the staff handled the situation. Our waitress, Olivia, was incredibly attentive and kind. She immediately took care of it and asked the chef to prepare a fresh bowl for me. The replacement was absolutely perfect! To top it off, the manager came over personally to apologize and made sure we were taken care of. They didn't charge me for either bowl and even treated me to two complimentary drinks. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but exceptional customer service is what keeps people coming back. Birdies went above and beyond to make things right, and that's why we'll definitely be returning. When here for lunch and drinks with some friends, the food was a lot better than I was expecting the burger and fries. I really enjoyed and my wife loved her salmon and grains bowl. The frozen margarita is tasty and strong. Would recommend that over the cucumber margarita overall it's a pretty cool place to get drinks and food. This was my second time visiting Birdie's Eastside and my first time trying their brunch! My family and I were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait for a table for four on a Sunday at 10:30 AM -- which, as many brunch-goers know, is no small feat. However, by the time we left around 11:30, it started to get crowded! I like to describe Birdie's as the more adult-friendly, upscale version of Katy Trail Ice House. It's the perfect spot to catch a game, bring your family or dog, or sit outside and enjoy a great meal in beautiful weather (there's plenty of indoor seating too). We started brunch with the Caesar deviled eggs, and I was honestly shocked by how much they captured the flavor of a Caesar salad -- these were a hit with everyone at the table. For my entrée, I went with the steak and eggs, a brunch classic. The dish itself was solid, but the real standout was the crispy, perfectly salty potatoes that came with it -- they were easily my favorite part of the meal. The only downside to our visit was the service. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty when our food arrived, our waitress didn't check in to see if everything came out correctly. After about 10 minutes, we finally flagged her down to ask for ketchup for the potatoes, which took another 10 minutes to arrive -- and she only brought one small cup for the entire table. We ended up having to flag down another waiter for more. Overall, though, Birdie's Eastside remains a great spot: delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and a setting that makes it easy to enjoy time with family or friends. With a bit more attentive service, it would've been an excellent brunch experience. read more

Visited Birdie's Eastside on a Saturday around noon. Super busy on the patio, as it was a nice day outside. Parking lot can get crowded so carpool is the way to go if meeting a group. Birdie's is super spacious inside and outside. We dined on the patio and got sat right away. I tried the Sauv Blanc Slushie - this was so delicious. I usually never like frozen drinks but this is a hit! Out of all the food I tried here, the Birria Sliders were my favorite. Loaded Fries are a close 2nd. They give 5 per order which other places usually give you 4. The caesar taste was okay but just fell a bit flat. I've had better. As an entree I wanted to try something different and picked Chicken & Waffle tacos. It comes with popcorn chicken, sausage gravy which I got on the side, and syrup. The shell is actually the waffle. The sausage gravy was really good. Not sure about these two actually going together though. Overall, there is some other menu options I definitely wanted to try. Went for brunch on a Saturday with a group of seven people. They have a good selection of alcoholic mixed drinks, and there were a few selections of mocktails. My brisket tacos were good, but the rest of my group got the Caesar wrap and they all loved it. Our server was great and she let us keep our orders separate and let us know when she brought us the bill that the gratuity was already added! A+ server!
