The restaurant was located back behind BK in Vibo Place on Escario, and it was nice and quiet there despite the busy traffic out front. Service was quick and we were seated promptly. Waitress was courteous and eager to please. Food: We both ordered the eggs benedict, and although the food was only warm, it was well seasoned. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was good. I also ordered peach tea, which was reminiscent of P.F. Chang's dragon oolong tea back home in the States. My wife ordered a cappuccino which had a cute shaped heart in the center. 2nd visit: We ordered the breakfast skillet and the beef brisket with kimichi. We're from Texas so we have a certain expectation when it comes to brisket. Yup, nope it's no Texas brisket but hey it still packed its own special flavor. Brisket was tender and moist. The breakfast skillet came with potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, bacon and some wonderfully flavored sausage. At first glance I thought to myself, " whattt Texas toast!!" but nope it was french toast. French toast was on the soggy side though. For beverages we ordered a mango caramel shake, which was soo good and the peach tea again. The only complaint we had was that the food came out warm and not piping hot. ( 2nd visit was better, food arrived hot). Otherwise, We'll be back again to try their other offerings. Tip: They have wifi and they accept credit cards.

Salmon in Mornay Sauce with Salad

This review is long overdue. Came to this place to meet my friends for dinner. It was my first time to try this place & I immediately liked what I felt when I walked into the restaurant. It felt homey and comfortable at the same time. I didn't know what to expect food wise. So we ordered several dishes pasta with meatballs, pork belly with basil pesto sauce & garlic rice, salmon in mornay sauce with green salad, brisket kimchi fried rice & chicken fingers with fries. Everything we ordered was to our liking and tasted delicious. If ever I'm back in town I would like to visit this place again.

Came here for breakfast and love the food. I ordered the matcha latte and love that it's not too sweet. Love the little heart art they gave me too. Had the Spanish Chorizo Silog. I love that they use brown rice to serve it with so I feel less bad eating the meal lol. Great place to chill and the WiFi is pretty fast considering is the Philippines. I would come back here for sure.

Love this place. Quaint little atmosphere with simple decor but is very warming. The place is quiet and offers top-notch quality food at a reasonable price. I come here to do stock trading on my laptop, as it is quiet and I have plenty of space at the tables to lay out all my stock analyzing devices.

Hollandaise sauce was made correctly with the right amount of lemon and butter. Egg was poached perfectly. They use salmon sashimi and the fish tasted fresh and the cut was thick. The "wilted" spinach was also cooked well. It wasn't overcooked. I also ordered the Long Black but was very turned off when I asked for a sugar substitute like Splenda or Equal, they tell me they have Stevia and offer it to me for P10 a packet. I thought that was ridiculous for a cafe. What coffee shop charges for sugar?! Will come back to try the other items. I hope they stay consistent.

I knew of Abaca back in 2018 when we ate at their Banilad coffeehouse after an early arrival. This location in Ayala was the nearest to Seda, where we were staying. Was thinking of having a to-go lunch but decided on dining in after seeing available seating for two. My teen had the Luncheonette Burger and I had the Breakfast Quesadilla with Apple Beet Carrot and Ginger Juice. I also got the triple ristretto ABC coffee takeout for my wife. F&D was excellent as always. This spot at the Ayala Terraces is quite intimate with additional al fresco seating across from it. it's quite a busy restaurant from what I've observed passing by it during our stay in Seda. It has a great view of the mall's garden space though. Service is excellent with one staff overlooking our section of the dining area. I clumsily forgot to retrieve my credit card after paying and for two days, I didn't know it was missing until I had to use it again. Tracked events back to here and got it back. They asked for an ID and the card was back to it's forgetful owner.

They have a good selection of coffee and drinks, plus their espresso is pulled to perfection. They have multiple locations around the city, so if you get a chance, have brunch there! The service has always been on point. The staff is really sweet and open to offering recommendations. Each location that I've been to has been clean and spacious. Totally recommend!
