So imagine my delight when every single thing in the store also seemed to fit & look good on my body! I had to really reel it in & narrow it down to just a few pieces. The prices are reasonable, but still in the higher-end boutique echelon for the area. Think chic sets, flowy dresses, modern beach cover ups, & stylish accessories. The most prominent material in the store was a linen blend. They had a few capsule colors that every piece was available in - including this gorgeous icy stone color that is my absolute favorite color. The sales associate was so sweet, & despite a decent language barrier between us we made each other laugh. She was very helpful. I can't wait to check out their website - FINGERS CROSSED - I hope they ship to the states! Love love love this store - Look for it & definitely stop in if you're in the area.

We all went to 5th Ave in Playa Del Carmen and that's when I found this shop. Exactly the things I wanted only better. The shirts all had a little difference to them. The stitching had small details that set them apart. The quality was even better and at a quarter of the price. The only problem was that there were so many different colors I wanted but was set on only getting 2.

The cool thing about Del Sol is that everything changes color in the sun. As soon as I stepped in all the employees were very eager to help me find something I wanted or show me how things change color. They have everything from clothes, to sunglasses, to nail polish, to hair accessories all that change color. I ended up getting my free bag plus bought two shirts which got me another free tote bag. I ended up with plenty of color changing souvenirs for my family from Cozumel. This is such a neat store to step into when you get the chance.

I will say we felt pushed along to swim hard for long durations. It would have been nice to relax. The 2nd part of the day after a very nice lunch was the sinote. I reall thought it was going to be a open sinote but I was surprised to find that we were going to a partially open one. It was majestic. Alejandro made every moment funnier and more interesting. The Snorkel Shop Gran Arrecife Tour was my favorite snorkeling experience thus far. I tend to stay…read moreaway from the water because I can't swim but I would do this tour over and over again. Our tour guide Alex was really cool and very accommodating. My friend and I could only stay for the first part of the tour and Alex was able to take us back to our hotel before the rest of the group continued to the cenote. We were picked up from our hotel early in the morning and taken straight to the reef. After suiting up in our appropriate life jackets, masks, and flippers, we jumped in a boat and were taken out further into the ocean towards the reef. The water was extremely clear and there were tons of underwater wildlife for us to see. We were literally swimming with the fishes. We even spotted turtles, barracudas, and other exotic fish I don't know the name of. We were actually taken to more than one spot to snorkel and were able to see more variety. After the amazing snorkeling experience we headed back to shore for lunch. We had the option of fish or tacos, and both were very, very delicious. Alex, our tour guide, was taking photos during the entire excursion and provided everyone with a free CD of photos at the end of the tour which is completely fantastic!! Tourist attractions usually charge an arm and a leg for photos.
