Biscuits are always worth every penny. Can be a wait at times but trust me, you will be rewarded with food that is amazing.

Good food, better value for the dollar in Davidson county and for businesses open early.

The service was as bad as the food, tasted like it was microwaved after being in the fridge for the past week. Don't waste your time.

Stopped by Earl's Landing on a Monday night to check out this newly opened restaurant and bar in…read moredowntown High Point. We didn't have reservations but were seated right away, which made for an easy start to the evening. The space has a modern, relaxed vibe that feels perfect for a casual dinner or drinks. We started with the Lobster Nachos, which were a fun twist since they're made with crispy potato wedges instead of chips. They were topped with lobster, bacon, scallions, and a creamy sauce: rich, indulgent, and great for sharing. For the main dish, I had the Ribeye steak with a side of cauliflower mash. The steak had a nice sear and great flavor, and the cauliflower mash was smooth, creamy and delicious, making it a great alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. A solid first visit with flavorful dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. Earl's Landing is a great new addition to the downtown High Point dining scene, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Try the Lobster Nachos if you want something unique to share, they're a standout starter.

They needed another person back there. Took forever to get a water. They forgot to give me a menu. Forgot my bourbon---these guys were swamped. They are human. It is my hope mgmt takes notice. But there's more: Kitchen forgot my chilled shrimp cocktail. It was not chilled on arrival. Bill was off slightly: Charged for the wrong drink. The little things matter at your great venue. Game time is coming with Market. You just need to make small adjustments to hit it out of the park again. All the best.

The sweet potato pancakes were really good, and the steak and eggs surprised me because the steak portion was huge and cooked really well. The avocado toast was also delicious, and even something simple like the eggs and cheese tasted amazing -- they really know how to make good scrambled eggs there. I also thought it was really cool that they had a little French market section where you can shop for French products while you're there. Most of the mimosas were really good too, and on Sundays they're only $5, which was a nice bonus. The wait time was definitely long -- over an hour and a half -- but honestly, the food and overall experience made it feel worth it in the end!

Everything is clean and intentionally places, it almost feels like dining in someone's really nice sunroom. The service was great. Molly took care of us and she was helpful, quick and efficient. Would definitely look for her again on my next visit. The food. First of all I underestimated the portions. The Red Potato Hash is enormous. Really great flavor but I barely made it halfway through the bowl. I also ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. They're probably my favorite thing on the menu. Taste, texture, consistency, all perfect. Tried their crepes for the first time and loved it as well. As someone who drinks coffee daily, they make really good lattes. The salted honey was that perfect balance of sweet and salty without being too much of either. This is the perfect breakfast/brunch restaurant. They're consistent, personable and efficient. Can't wait to come back and check out some new items.

We started with the large Bavarian pretzel, served warm with queso and spicy mustard--perfect for sharing. The Boar's Head pastrami sandwich was outstanding, piled high with jalapeño-kraut, melted Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on toasted marble rye. The Hot Mama pizza was a standout: classic cheese pizza topped with Italian sausage, honey, and fresh basil (I skipped the red pepper flakes--just a personal preference). A great spot for good food, good drinks, and a relaxed vibe. Check out the plates on walls and ceilings for people that drank a certain amount of different beers. We have a friend that is so close to adding to this restaurants collection! Enjoy!

I tried to be a little healthy so I got the veggie burger and it was pretty dry. The fries were very good though. My son got a sandwich called Reuben-esque and he said it was delicious. It looked great. When I saw his plate I immediately regretted my decision. Menu prices were very decent at $12-$21. The staff here were attentive and the place was very clean. I would definitely come back so I give it four stars, one star knocked down for a dry veggie patty. I want to try the "German plate" for sure next time.
