This school is exemplary and the students are very lucky to attend a campus that shaped people of great character.

I would not recommend any parent send their child to the OLQHS Early Childhood Center. My nephew…read moreattends school here, and I must say the school's services are lacking. A few of the incidents encountered OLQHS include: 1. My nephew came home with scratches down his leg stating, "My friend scratched me." Accidents happen, but part of the issue stands with how inadequately the teacher handled the situation. The teacher has been consistent in her record of failing to keep a watchful eye on her students. A 2 year old child does not have the ability to stand up for himself, and I would like to hope that this teacher will take the time to tend to her students appropriately in the future. 2. My nephew came hope with urine leaking down his leg stating, "My teacher didn't change my diaper." Clearly, as we can see and smell the urine dripping down his legs. 3. We aren't allowed to send extra food for my nephew to eat during the day. Has this school not heard of snack time? My nephew comes home upset most days he attends this school's program (a problem we haven't experienced while he's attended other schools). 4. The school let a nanny pick up my nephew, and failed to double check who she was. I have not encountered this problem with other school programs in and outside of the state that my nephew has attended. Most schools are supposed to require a list contacts for those allowed to check a child out of school, pick them up from school etc. In the future, I hope that OLQHS Early Childhood Center will take the time to verify who is picking their students up from school. I still remember when I attended elementary school, I was not allowed to leave school with "just anyone" unless the school had signed consent from a parent or legal guardian. Not identifying those picking children up is an easy way for kidnappings to occur. This is just another way this school exemplified their lack of safety and concern for their students. As the problems my nephew experiences at OLQHS Early Childhood Center continue to grow, I am led to believe that these incidents are major issues that this school needs to address. I find these occurrences extremely unprofessional! This school has failed to meet expectations and standards.
