The bruschetta tasted so fresh and had a nice kick to it with the oil and toppings. The salmon pasta was super flavourful and seasoned with the meats and sauces which was incredible. The tiramisu had a nice fluffiness alongside the thicker cream on top which made it a great end of the meal. Service was attentive and the place had a fancy, elegant vibe. However, it felt so comfortable to be in the restaurant. I've never had authentic Italian food but this seems to top all of the other Italian restaurants I've been to - and for such a decent price too. Beautiful high decorative ceilings, stained glass around the bar and beautiful paintings hanging off the walls. There is a great big verandah with outdoor seating for warm days with a great view of the Rhine and the vineyards nearby. The menu is bistro like with starters, soups and mains. I had oysters to start and a pumpkin soup for main. The food was average and tasted ok. It's a bit pricey for what it is. The wine list is also quite nice and has many local wines. Service was a bit slow but friendly. It also took a while for the food to arrive. All in all an ok place I would come back to. It's a beautiful looking restaurant with grand interiors.
