I'd call it a speakeasy with a bartender full of personality, which I found it amusing. She asked…read moreabout flavor profiles and we gave her our preference, but she kept finding contradictions. After a bit it was like not sure what else I can say. Full of contradictions, but entertaining. At the end, she made an excellent dirty martini with Mediterranean notes for me and hubby a twist on an old fashioned. I then asked for a refreshing drink and she delivered. At one point the place was full and 5 large frat boys walked in, and it's a small space. She told them there wasn't room and to come back later. Not sure what they said, but she told them sorry not here. It was funny seeing them walk out shocked and in disbelief. Same theme as everywhere else, be patient, be polite and it's reciprocated. Not, find the door. To find the place look at my picture of the door and pay mind to map location

There is no menu so you tell him what kinds of drinks you like and also not like (gin, yuck!) and he just makes up a cocktail for you! Ambiance: 10/5 - Gorgeous, dark, and sexy vibes! Definitely good for a romantic evening or feeling fancy with your girlfriends! Drinks: 10/5 - Delicious delicious delicious! It's hard to trust a mixologist but man, he knows his stuff! How can you not try a place with a name like that? Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.

Everywhere I travel, I seek out Tiki bars. On a recent trip to Europe I wasn't surprised to find…read moredecent places in London or Paris, but had low expectations for Prague. To my surprise, Tiki Taki is a fantastic bar with delicious drinks, a great bartender (Daniel), lots of ephemera, an entertaining mix of customers and a quirky origin story. I went on a Sunday night and there were about ten other customers. Their bar back was new, and wasn't able to answer my questions, but the bartender Daniel quickly came around and helped me customize a Zombie. It was well balanced with fresh ingredients and decent rums. I also had a Suffering Bastard which was more gingery than I'm used to, but it was quite tasty. It was like a Dark & Stormy with more character. Lastly, Daniel graciously let me order off menu and made a Navy Grog. He hadn't made one before, but it came out okay and I appreciated him making the effort. The owner Jason and his girlfriend were there when I visited. Jason was friendly and hospitable, sharing the story of how he created his first home tiki bar and eventually opening his shop in Prague. They don't have their own mugs, but serve some drinks out of other bars' mugs which is fun. It'd be great if they eventually make their own though. I really wanted a memento of the visit. The bar itself is well and thoroughly decorated with mostly typical Tiki decorations. lots of bamboo, paintings, tikis, tapestries and the like. One stand out is the Pac Man machine embedded in a barrel in the corner of the bar. It'd dark and has the vibe of a dive-y but thoughtful tiki bar -- my favorite kind. If you like bars like Tiki Ti or Forbidden Island, you'll feel at home in Tiki Taki. Lastly, the other patrons were a mix of quiet tourists and local Czechs who had no idea what a tiki bar was and were just ordering beers. No one was rowdy or rude, and I found it fun to watch them try to figure the place out over a pint of Pilsner Urquell. The menu even has a 128 word paragraph about Tiki Bar etiquette in both English and Czech. So I imagine the mellow atmosphere I experienced isn't always what you get there. But it think this makes it unique and fun. I had a great time visiting here and will definitely make a trip back if I'm ever in Prague again. Mahalo Daniel and Jason!

We had four different ones. The All About Ece and Spank My Monkey were best. Both came in nice Tiki mugs too. Not high Standards but nice drinks. The other two were different. Lawa Flow was the better one, but compared to the first pretty flat. Pina Colada was worst, with a taste of a pre mixed drink, too much cream and cheap Barcadi. We decided to stop right after.
