I had to down an extra couple glasses of water to complete the meal, but after traveling for 18 hours I wasn't going to wait and send it back or find a new place to eat. Quite thick for a thin crust and whilst the toppings were plentiful, were very bland and watery (which perhaps contributed to the soggy base). I opted for the courgette, which was extremely cheesy, but came with par cooked vegetables had little real taste. We also picked the capriosa, which came with very cheap ham (we had to remove), and a watery tomato sauce. The only saving grace albeit staff, was the complimentary brusetta, it was pretty tasty, but not a good indication of the rest of the meal we ordered. And with the one experience that I had, it truly recreated the best memories I had. I would say that they had a very large selection of pizzas but being mostly vegetarian, it was a little difficult to find the perfect combination of toppings. You can pay extra to get the specific toppings you want, but that quickly gets more expensive than buying a specific combination from the menu. Quattro Fontane Due has what I will, going forward, refer to as "single people solutions." You go in, you pick out your meat and your two sides, you let them warm it up for you, you pay 60kr, and then you go home and you eat it. They give you enormous portions, so just do right by yourself and split it up into two like a smart person, and you're set. I'm not sure it's actually possible to get two nights worth of a balanced meal out of a grocery store in Copenhagen for 60kr. Which means Quattro Fontane Due is officially cheaper than the labor of making your own food. It's pretty much like I've died and gone back to New York. I also bought some antipasti for the earlier mentioned dinner party - pesto, tapenade, and artichoke purée. All were divine and completely devoured.
