I had complained about how food gets caught between teeth every time I eat and I have to use floss to get it out. The hygenist brought to my attention the pocket forming around the tooth. Dr. Davidson confirmed her findings and they recommended my going to a gum specialist. He said the food jamming down while chewing was damaging the gums and the bone was starting to recede from the implant post. He recommended adding to the tooth in front of the implant. Dr. Davidson recommended taking the crown off of the implant and adding to it instead. That made more sense to me. They also called the lab to see about getting it covered under a warranty to save me money. I am very impressed with this office and so glad I changed dentists.

So I called after reading so many positive reviews on yelp, expecting to be turned down, especially after they told me the hygienists are booked out into December. But I explained my situation and they told me to come in the next day(!) so Dr. Felton could check it out and advise me. So I show up the next day (15 minutes late even) and they still took me! I should stop here and say how wonderful every staff member I interacted with was. The front desk person, the dental tech, Dr Felton, all amazing. And the office is big but beautifully appointed and they have all the most current technology and the equipment that it comes with. They can even make crowns on-site and no impressions! They digitally scan my mouth and then fabricate the crown right there! So in 3 days I go in in the morning and walk out in a few hours with a brand new crown. Omg, how I wish I could find a dental practice this good back in Northern California, but I'm still looking. And if you're freaked out about being in the dental chair I can't imaging a better place to go and have your nerves calmed down. This practice is top shelf all the way.

He is thoughtful, caring, a good listener, gentle, smart and offers a lot of good and sage dental advice. I genuinely think he cares about the well being of my dental care and I am just not another patient. I've also seen Dr. Hillberry on occasion and he is also a great dentist, but Dr. Wright is my go-to-guy. It is a family dental clinic so he also cares for the teeth of my young children. He is great with them as well. I've used special pediatric dentists who have been rushed, careless and downright mean but not Dr. Wright! My kids are actually excited to go to the dentist if you can believe it! With the kids he walks them through all the procedures, shows them the instruments, etc. He doesn't rely on gimmicks like Disney movies and costumes to calm the children, it's just his thoughtful bedside manner that does the trick! His staff is also top notch. His hygienists, Nancy & Maureen are my favorites, but they're all great. The receptionist and billing staff are also great to work with. I would travel out of state if I had to just to be a patient here. Way to go Lolo Dental!

And one of the chairs has a large window framing the Bitterroot Mountains. Beautiful. We used Dr. Taylor as our family dentist for our first two years. His whole operation is first class, but we learned that he is a cosmetic dentist who does the "perfect teeth" work in addition to regular dentistry. Each of us had a plan for a total mouth overhaul over time. We opted out as we prefer our natural teeth, with all their imperfections, over "Chick-let Teeth". And he is a bit more expensive than other practices. Does accept most insurance but you pay the difference. Appointments are necessary and on your first visit you get a free tooth whitening kit for coming in. If you are looking for a mouth rebuild Dr. Taylor is the practice of choice. He and his office staff are warm, professional and really come across as caring for you. Nice folks.

I had to call every month, when they would resend the bill. The secretary said they emailed us of the insurnace change, they never did, they don't even have my email address. Terrible communication from their office. After seeing a new dentist I was told filings that they said I needed should not have been done. New clients beware!
