So I called after reading so many positive reviews on yelp, expecting to be turned down, especially after they told me the hygienists are booked out into December. But I explained my situation and they told me to come in the next day(!) so Dr. Felton could check it out and advise me. So I show up the next day (15 minutes late even) and they still took me! I should stop here and say how wonderful every staff member I interacted with was. The front desk person, the dental tech, Dr Felton, all amazing. And the office is big but beautifully appointed and they have all the most current technology and the equipment that it comes with. They can even make crowns on-site and no impressions! They digitally scan my mouth and then fabricate the crown right there! So in 3 days I go in in the morning and walk out in a few hours with a brand new crown. Omg, how I wish I could find a dental practice this good back in Northern California, but I'm still looking. And if you're freaked out about being in the dental chair I can't imaging a better place to go and have your nerves calmed down. This practice is top shelf all the way.

The Team in the Front Office are spot-on knowledgeable and helpful in arranging what you need when you need it. My Dental Hygienist, Madi, is THE best. Fast, thorough, and gentle. I look forward to seeing her. My dentist is Justin Simmons. He always has time to catch me up on the haps at the practice and is very attentive when he is with me. He is thoughtful, caring, a good listener, gentle, smart and offers a lot of good and sage dental advice. I genuinely think he cares about the well being of my dental care and I am just not another patient. I've also seen Dr. Hillberry on occasion and he is also a great dentist, but Dr. Wright is my go-to-guy. It is a family dental clinic so he also cares for the teeth of my young children. He is great with them as well. I've used special pediatric dentists who have been rushed, careless and downright mean but not Dr. Wright! My kids are actually excited to go to the dentist if you can believe it! With the kids he walks them through all the procedures, shows them the instruments, etc. He doesn't rely on gimmicks like Disney movies and costumes to calm the children, it's just his thoughtful bedside manner that does the trick! His staff is also top notch. His hygienists, Nancy & Maureen are my favorites, but they're all great. The receptionist and billing staff are also great to work with. I would travel out of state if I had to just to be a patient here. Way to go Lolo Dental!

And one of the chairs has a large window framing the Bitterroot Mountains. Beautiful. We used Dr. Taylor as our family dentist for our first two years. His whole operation is first class, but we learned that he is a cosmetic dentist who does the "perfect teeth" work in addition to regular dentistry. Each of us had a plan for a total mouth overhaul over time. We opted out as we prefer our natural teeth, with all their imperfections, over "Chick-let Teeth". And he is a bit more expensive than other practices. Does accept most insurance but you pay the difference. Appointments are necessary and on your first visit you get a free tooth whitening kit for coming in. If you are looking for a mouth rebuild Dr. Taylor is the practice of choice. He and his office staff are warm, professional and really come across as caring for you. Nice folks.

I attempted to dispute a charge, ot took over 6months of back and forth with their secretary. I was told that their finance dept would contact me. Never did. I had to call every month, when they would resend the bill. The secretary said they emailed us of the insurnace change, they never did, they don't even have my email address. Terrible communication from their office. After seeing a new dentist I was told filings that they said I needed should not have been done. New clients beware!

But this uniquely qualifies me to judge the former: I've seen enough Dentists in my long life to know a good one when I find him/her. So believe me me when I say that Dr. Trujillo is not just a good doctor....he is a top notch professional that really knows his shit. Knowledgeable yet also easy to talk to. He takes his time to make sure you understand exactly what he's talking about. Professional yet compassionate enough to where you feel he is truly empathizing with what you are going through. Finally - it doesn't matter if you are a top notch auto mechanic or a top notch doctor...no matter how good you are, you can't help people without a professional and efficient support staff backing you up.
