If you're looking for the best pizza around, look no further. This is a great place to kick back with pizza and beer to watch a game. We travel down here from about an hour away because it's the best pizza you can get between Tallahassee and Panama City. The pizza has a nice garlic undertone in the sauce without the garlic flavor knocking you over. Everything has been made perfect almost every time we come (except once when they were slammed). I'm giving five stars because we had a really good experience, but truth be told the pizza was a 4 star at best. We went in for an early dinner during the week. Ordered mozzarella sticks and a large cheese pizza. Mozzarella sticks were decent, but needed about 30 more seconds in the fryer. They weren't quite hot and gooey enough, but they were decent. The pizza came out pretty fast. I *think* but I'm not 100% sure it isn't made in a pizza oven, more like the conveyor oven Domino's uses. Makes a huge difference in the crispiness of the crust. So the crust was ok, the sauce was ok; a bit bland. What made the pizza , though, is the cheese. Hot and gooey, and I swear I detected garlic throughout, which was nice. Placing the order was easy, but I'm confused as to why you can't get a wrap or sandwich after 4. When we were halfway done. The gentleman behind the counter dropped off a box for leftovers in case we couldn't finish. I thought that was a great touch. All in all, it was good and we will go again. read more

This was my first time at BJ's, I ordered the meat lovers pizza. I am from the northeast where some of the pizza is made, this pizza was absolutely perfection. The toppings were not under cooked, they were firm and crispy. The sauce had a great flavor layered on top of a thin crispy crust. They have the worst customer service and attitude on the planet. Do not waste your time as you cannot order online, cannot order on the phone and you will wait in line for a minimum of 40 minutes and then wait an hour plus - add to all of this that the prices are out of control. They should use their profits and buy more equipment to produce enough pizzas for the demand. Pay a normal wage and hire more staff. Shame on this company and its owners - they do not represent the spirit of the island. Tourists need an alternative unfortunately. Do not waste your time or money with this clown show. read more

We ordered a sausage, green pepper and black olive pizza and a half pepperoni and ham, half green pepper, mushroom and black olive pizza. We asked for extra garlic on both large pizzas. We enjoyed the pizzas because we were starving but not enough that the leftovers didn't end up in the trash. The pizza sauce was absent. The sausage had little flavor. The crust would be good if it were rolled thinner. There was just too much thick bread to it. I did not detect any garlic. The green peppers were bright and tangy. The ham was very good. The pepperoni was nicely spicy. The cheese had good pull but lacked that fresh mozzarella flavor. We also ordered the cheese bread and got mozzarella sticks instead. Which were similar to a frozen grocery brand. The marinara sauce was pretty good (would have loved that flavor on the pizzas) but still lacked red pepper, fennel and oregano. The salads were fresh with nice greens and grape tomatoes. Their salad dressings are pretty good but tasted like restaurant supply. I mostly judge pizza by the sauce, crust and cheese. These pizzas definitely missed the mark. And no delivery service. read more

I give this one star as it is the only pizza option on the island and it seems to be the only option for food past 8 o'clock. Had an absolute nightmare experience here the last time I dined here. Called in an order and was told 20-30 min wait. (Which it's a 20% chance you will even get through to someone on the phone) I went in to pick up my order after waiting 30 min and they said it would be a couple more mins. I waited 15 more min until someone noticed me waiting and asked the order on my name. They said okay just a little bit longer. 20 more min go by.... Side note.. While I was waiting i over heard one of the workers say they are out of ranch (which I order extra of). Funny thing is that even though they were out of ranch they were still asking people ordering if they wanted blue cheese or ranch with their orders. So as I'm waiting i her someone in the kitchen ask if there was a Jessica there and the waitress say no there is no Jessica waiting. Then looks at me and ask my name and I said yeah I'm Jessica. Turns out they ran out of bbq sauce for the wings I ordered and asked what else I wanted. THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED MY ORDER AFTER 35 min of me waiting! 15 min later my food is FINALLY DONE! The best part of the whole debacle, when we got home the entire order they gave me was wrong!! The pizza was wrong and the wings were wrong and as I said before they had no ranch to give me with my wings and that I paid extra for. What a great pizza place!! I was so excited to see they offer gluten free crust here, so we ended up eating here twice during our week long stay. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to those that have to be gluten free (celiac here!). We took our order to go, but they have a great indoor space and outdoor patio seating as well. No one had posted a picture of the salad but we were in desperate need of 'something green' so we tried the grilled chicken salad. It was delicious! The ranch was very good and the chicken had a good flavor. We ordered the ' 6 toppings' pizza. We got pepperoni, sausage, garlic, green pepper, onion and mushroom. Very good. BJ's staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a big crowd when we went but they had the pizzas flowing and appetizers out in a decent time with all the people in there. The Mac and cheese wedges ere good and hot. The wings were one of the best I've had while in Florida. We ordered the meat lovers and a pepperoni pizza and it was great as well. The pizza is overpriced and not very good. It was not very hot when I picked it up. They told me that it would be done in 35 minutes, but it was done sooner than that, so I picked it up late and it was no longer hot. When I went in I looked for a sign as to where to pick up my take-out order, but did not see one. I went instead to the order counter and was treated very rudely. When I followed the surly employee to the right place, she seemed very put out when I asked for a container of red pepper flakes to go.
