First time in, I came in for lunch. The place is very clean and all staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I came in expecting average lackluster chain beer. I was surprised and happy to see theirs is quality. Tried a flight of 4, 3 were their own brews. Also got a personal pizza which came with a side or salad and a pizookie. It was part of the lunch special. Reasonably priced too! The salad I chose was fresh, nothing wilted and it has a variety of lettuce types (not only iceberg or romaine). I was in town for the week to work and ended up here twice. Both times the food was very good, and they have lots to choose from. It is a good sized restaurant with a bar as well. The service on both nights was what really impressed me. The staff there really works hard and they were very attentive. I would definitely go back. read more

First time visit this location, it was easy to find, but the parking was confusing since there are multiple buildings nearby , therefore for first comer can get confused as for where to park for BJ. Service was decent , we came in between meals time, the restaurant was fairly empty, our waiter was very attentive and try to crack some jokes with us as well. Food quality, and pricing is consistent with other locations . From the deep dish pizza to kids meal, to ribs , spaghetti , chicken tenders , chicken wings and cocktails everything was delicious. Food was good, but service was mediocre that worth zero stars. It was very hard to get any servers attention. We finished our meal at 11 pm and ready to head back home after a long day of travel. Server never checked on us, collected the plates, or brought our bills. We were waiting and waiting with no assistance. I raised my arm up in hope someone will come and inquire with us. Servers see my arm up, but ignored it. After 5 min or so, I walked up to the counter by the bar where 2 servers were talking to each other, they see me standing at the counter but ignored me. I waited for them to finish their conversation and said "excuse me, we would like to pay, can you help us with our bill?" Server 1 response was: "I don't have authority to do that!" Turn her head over to coworker and said "do you have authority "? Server 2 response was: "I don't have authority either and I don't know who was your server." Wow! I am speechless. My counter response was "you have authority to find out who was the server and bring the bill to me" and I walked away infuriated. This is the lowest of the lowest customer experience I've ever had. We stopped here twice while we were in town for an event at the Air Force Museum. We had their beer and some bourbon, and ordered the Chips with Salsa and Guacamole on both visits. They give you a big bowl of Guacamole, and it is fresh and tastes very good. We sat at the bar, and our bartender "Squirrel' was awesome! He was on point taking care of us with our beer, bourbon and appetizers. The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed watching football on their big screen TV's. We always enjoy the food at BJs Brewhouse and today was no exception BUT they keep this restaurant way to cold. I have always noticed the temperature but today was so cold that it was difficult to enjoy the experience. I mean it was COLD! I did let the waiter know and he said he mentioned it to the manager but the freezing cold air continued to blow the entire meal. I did notice that many ppl brought in jackets or sweaters. When it is so cold in your restaurant that ppl need to bring sweaters and jackets might want to make an adjustment...just saying! So if you plan to go....dress warmly! read more

It was OK, I wouldn't say great. Plenty of room for parking, spacious, well decorated, and very clean on the inside. The waitress and hostess were both very nice and our food came out quickly. Appetizers We order the calamari ot came out and looked like it was overcooked however it wasn't it was light and not chewy at all. I got the soup and salad Soup was a great size but the ranch was really watery and not much flavor. The broccoli cheese soup was way to salt. But it was really creamy and a huge bowl My husband got the Tri tip the steak was cooked perfect with a great flavor. The asparagus undercooked which we are not sure how being so little. But way over seasoned too. And really spicey lol. The potatoe was undercooked. We didn't send our food back or complain because that is not who we are. But overall pretty disappointing. We came in as a large party for our basketball trip. 18 people with reservations and we got sat so fast! Manager was amazing and accommodated our needs wonderfully! Our amazing server, Sam, was phenomenal! She was so quick and knew the menu so well! She got us everything we needed with top notch service. Turns out the Cincinnatti area closes down completely at 10pm. We found that BJ's still open, and I'm glad it was. We had a great experience at BJ's. We showed up an hour before closing and sat at the bar for food. The bartender had a real Sam Malone vibe and was great to talk to. I have literally never left a review on a place before but I am so weirded out I feel like I have to. My brother cousin and I walked in and got seated. We gave our ids and then the waitress disappeared for a few minutes and came back to tell us that we were being refused service because her manager thought we were drunk??? The manager then came to us and took our ids for another few minutes and then came back and still refused us service because our real ids are from California. Strangest and most hostile experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Some guy named Red was determined to ruin our night without any reason. For the second time in a row, we have ordered the Asian chop salad and it was not correctly prepared. It has included ingredients that are not standard for that menu item and items that were supposed to be included have been left out. It should not be this hard to prepare a standard menu item according to its ingredients. Two times in a row it has been wrong. Basic delivery of a standard menu item should be easy enough to do. Stopped in this afternoon with my father and aunt for a late lunch. Food was excellent. However, the first waiter "Squirrel" took the drink order and did not get my drink correct. That's ok. Squirrel came up and his next encounter with us was to inform us that they were making him leave.. odd because the place just opened at 11.. so, I'm thinking squirrel might be off to gather nuts somewhere else. Anyway, our next waitress was awesome. Only two down sides. The salad runner forgot I wanted extra dressing. But, that was reconciled with two extra dressings! The next downside was their app was not taking any credit card payment I tried to put in. Apparently the staff at the restaurant says this happens all the time. Both situations were not the waitresses fault though. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. The cost has went up though. For that I'm a little bummed about. The waiter was very attentive, but the hostess sat us at a table in front of the door. Every time someone walked in, so did the very cold air. I had a chicken salad. Tamarind sauce is a good pairing to get that sweet/salty combo. A small amount is enough because of the sweetness. Kyle says the sauce is too sweet for him too. Shrimp Scampi Pasta 10/10. Not a super saucy dish, but it's covered well. The flavor of the garlic butter sauce is fantastic, and you can taste a bit of Parmesan cheese in it too. The shrimps were very buttery, had a good flavor to them, and were cooked perfectly. Absolutely nothing to complain about New Orleans Jambalaya 8/10. Kyles rating. Good spices. This review would have been a 3, but the waitress and manager saved the day. One of the people in my party said that if you order the Tomato Bisque, they will make a grilled cheese. My husband and I made the order. The grilled cheese came out and we waited for a while for the bisque. The rest of the food came for our party along with the bisques. By this time, the grilled cheese was cold. I thought that was ok because the bisque would warm it up. It is cold in the restaurant and I did not see any steam from our soups. It was bone cold. We sent them back only to have them return in the same state. The third try was the charm. The manager comped my husband's and my meal. Both the manager and waitress profusely apologized. I booked BJ's for a retirement function over 30 days in advanced. Had lunch at the establishment to ensure quality of food and was delighted and impressed. A week before the function, went by the restaurant to inquire about decorating the guest table. Met with manger and we double checked my reservation. On the day of the event, I received a call from BJ's inquiring about my reservation and it was not showing in their books. Get to the restaurant, and guest arrive, but the area we reserved was not ready. Now a third manager talks with me about the reservation admitting there was a communication problem with the managers. Eventually, we get seated into the area past our reserved time. The function turned out great, but the reservation could have been better. For a few bucks more, could have ordered a steak with much more meat... basically, they should have added more meat for the price they charged. The chicken might be good here? I did a lot of trimming of fat and even after trimming, almost every bite was gristle. Visiting from out of town, I had to check out this local BJs restaurant. Seated at the bar, the familiar BJs setting was apparent. Located in the outer loop of the mall, there's basically unlimited parking available. What was distinctively apparent was the fact that all the beer taps were located on the wall as opposed to being located along the bar countertop where customers sit. I never liked it because it's inhibiting and the bartender can easily see if you're ready for another drink. As a beer club member (currently only available in California only), I inquired if the bartender was aware of the club. She wasn't and was pretty surprised to hear about what members get for what they pay. No objections to eating or drinking here. read more
