I hadn't been to BJs in a long time, but I was craving their jalapeño burger because I remembered enjoying them when I first had them. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. After ordering my burger, I headed to my car and started driving while eating. As I was finishing the last few bites, I suddenly felt my tooth chip. I immediately pulled over and checked the burger box. Inside, I found what appeared to be either a small rock or a broken piece of a white plate. I've been a regular customer at BJ's Restaurant for a while now and have an extensive order history. Especially with their meal deals. Unfortunately, my experience last night was extremely disappointing. I ordered the steak and ribs meal deal, and my order ended up being about 20 minutes late. On top of that, it was incorrect, the steak was cold, and none of the notes or special instructions I left were followed. When I went to pick it up, the situation didn't improve. The staff member at the pickup area was unhelpful and kept making excuses instead of trying to fix the issue. That level of service is frustrating, especially for a returning customer. I did speak with the manager and made it clear that if my order is more than 10 minutes late, which it was in this case, I will be requesting a refund moving forward. You can also review my past concerns on Yelp, as this isn't the first issue I've had. I've supported BJ's consistently, but experiences like this make it hard to keep coming back unless there are real improvements in both accuracy and customer service. read more

Their $13 dollar menu, which consists of a meal plus a Pizookie, is our all-time fave. If you time it right and eat at the bar area during happy hour, you'll get to experience their $5 dollar beer or wine specials. The wait to get seated is typically 10-20 minutes), depending on when you arrive. The bar area is open seating. The food is pretty decent for the price you're paying. Been here several times and had good experiences but today I had a rude experience. Went at around 1130 and it was not busy at all. We asked for a table for 4 ( 2 kids and 2 adults) and were seated at the bar area. Being 9 months pregnant and table not moveable I could not sit down at the original table. We asked if we can move in the general seating area and were told no. After we said I'm pregnant and cannot squeeze into the booth we were told it was another 15 minute wait. 15 minute wait seems excess when there was only 1 group in the general seating area but what made me leave was how rude the employee was when asked for a seating accommodation due to being pregnant. Just left here for their happy hour I ordered the beef sliders and the blonde bj's ale. The prices were great $5 beer $7 sliders but the beer tasted expired, really sour for a blonde I couldn't finish it and when I bit into a slider it was raw in the middle, being tired and just wanting to eat I bit into another one still raw. Atleast the bartender was cool took the sliders off my order and only charged me for my half drank beer. Probably won't be coming back even though I live close. My wife and I sat down for dinner earlier and weren't spoken to for about 15 min. My son was hangry so we weren't the most quiet people there. By the 12 minute mark we had 4 servers walk past us and no one still gave us a piece of mind till I stood up to leave. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner and our server was super friendly. Even gave us a dessert on the house after a little mess up while ordering. It's a spacious place full of families and friends enjoying themselves so the ambiance is always great. The only thing about my dinner last night that has me reconsidering going back is the way I felt the next day. The tri-tip meal we ordered was split between me and my girlfriend. Updated 2025 Review - Have been here a handful of times since my last review. We've ordered to-go mostly for sporting events. This place is conveniently located at the Child Vista Center Mall off Broadway and H Street with plenty of parking. We've enjoyed there happy hour deals and have been able to get close seating to the Bar with our son, to watch baseball/football games. They still get busy during game season, but our experiences have been better the handful of times we've come. Staff is friendly and food has not waivered. My husband thoroughly enjoys the Bacon Guacamole Deluxe Hamburger meal, and it has been his go-to the last handful of times. They offer kids meals, which has worked out great, especially when ordering to-go. We've also utilized delivery services to order food from BJ's. We especially love the artichoke dip. Unfortunately, most of the food gets devoured before I am able to snap a photo. Our recent order, we opt for the Pizookie! Awesome chocolate chip baked cookie with vanilla ice cream. When you order to-go, they provide you with a small container of ice cream sealed, which is amazing, so it doesn't melt all over. We've ordered it a few times and the kid size Pizookie. The also run a deal during the weekdays for a $13 Pizookie meal. The soup and salad combo is refreshing for those days when you are not looking for a heavy meal. We ended up getting the fried avocado egg rolls again but this time, didn't taste the same and the sauce was off-putting, I think we have officially crossed this food item off our list. Absolutely Outstanding Experience at BJ's! My fiancé and I had one of the best dining experiences we've ever had at BJ's, and it was all thanks to Daisy C and Josh! Josh (who I believe is the manager) went above and beyond from the start. He gave us fantastic beer recommendations and even brought out several samples so we could find the perfect match. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made the experience feel personal and special. Daisy C was absolutely phenomenal. She checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, made sure everything was perfect, and truly made us feel taken care of. On top of that, she kindly offered to take our picture -- such a thoughtful touch that made our night even more memorable. The resolution was a gift card valued at double the forgotten items, and while I am satisfied that it was well compensated, it is still very disappointing to not have the dessert we wanted, which was really the reason we decided to order from here. I stand by that I could never recommend ordering curbside and arguably takeout as well. Even when I went inside to get the order, I had issues. I didn't know which beer to try so they were very happy and willing to let me try the Nutty Brunette and the Amber Oasis; oh man the Nutty Brunette is so much better. Their Happy Hour specials are really good, I typically like the small personal pizza but i tried the fried pot stickers and they were really good. The dipping sauce is fantastic.
