We are visiting Charleston and found this cute donut /coffee shop. It was quiet and quaint with very cute decor and vibes. We only got food but it was very tasty. The pizza pretzel was better than we expected and the apple pastry was a sweet dessert. The worker was very sweet, patient and talkative. We got several other good recs from her as well.

The cereal doughnut is so good! I visited towards the end of the day, so it wasn't as fresh as it could've been. Still very delicious. I also had a cinnamon bun latte which was pretty good. They also sell plants which was so fun for me, not so fun for my pockets haha The lady at the counter was nice and helpful!

Quick service, wonderful pretzel which was more like a savory roll, and cute coffee shop vibes!

Came here for a mid day coffee after shopping on King Street, the food & drinks here are so unique it makes it hard to decide what you want! We got the cinnamon bun cold brew, a s'mores donut & a cinnamon sugar donut. I need to come back for the pop tart, cosmic brownie & the lavender latte The environment of the store is super cool and trendy, great to snap a photo of!

The donuts are ok, but very dense. So wish I would not have gone with the 6-pack lol. But all in all they were good to share with the fam. My fav was the fruity pebbles donut. The cronut was not flaky it was more bready. The ambiance is very donut shoppey lol. The service was warm and welcoming.

Stopping by this place is always a treat. This shop combines two of my greatest loves -plants and all things sugar. To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of gourmet donuts. I am basic and prefer Krispy crème. But the donuts the produce look cool, they make a killer London fog tea, and they have a show room of plants you can browse as you wait for your order.

I really loved this shop. Everything from wall to wall is adorable. They not only sell donuts and coffee, but plants too. I saw they had apple cider donuts this weekend and HAD TO HAVE THEM so I stopped in. The girl working was super sweet and hyped up the apple cider donuts so I bought 4! Now, they are a pretty penny so I was really hoping these donuts were life changing. Got them home and immediately had to indulge and called for my husband to come check them out too! (As he's the one who really got my obsession for apple cider donuts going.) Well, we both bit in and didn't say much as we were waiting for that apple cider pop. Maybe the second bite. Well, that pop never came and frankly the inside of the donut was pretty dry. It's a decent cinnamon sugar donut..but not special enough for another go round for us.

We came across Bkedshop while trying to find a different business and stopped in to see what it was all about. First thing to note, not all donuts are created equally. lol While these donuts look like they may be yeast donuts, they are actually brioche donuts. Yes, you read that correctly...brioche. This definitely intrigued me more so we decided to get 1 each (basically because we wanted the same donuts...lol) and 1 to split. We got the Vanilla Bean, Brown Butter Apple Waffle and Maple Brown Sugar. These donuts are dense but not in a bad way, just an "I wasn't really expecting that" kind of way. lol The Vanilla Bean is good. Not overly sweet but at the same time not sweet enough. I felt like you had the sweetness just at the very beginning of the bite and then all you tasted was donut. This was the same for the Brown Butter Apple Waffle which bummed me out because I was really looking forward to this one. The Maple Brown Sugar donut has the most flavor and is hands down my favorite of the 3. It's the perfect amount of sweetness and the caramelized brown sugar on top is the perfect touch. While this is really more of a 3.5 star review, I bumped it to a 4. With that said, Iwould definitely return here and try some of the other flavors the next time we are in Charleston.

Love this location! The employees are so sweet, the donuts are always fresh, and they make a mean latte! I love treating myself before work once a week, and they make it so worth it. The inside is adorable, with plenty of light coming in through the windows. I highly recommend!

My friend said these were her favorite donuts in Charleston, so we decided to pick some up when we were visiting her. We got a half dozen donuts with Cookie Butter, Pumpkin Spice, Pecan Toffee Crunch, Apple Pie, Cereal Milk, and Autumn Nut Crunch (vegan). I really liked these donuts. My favorite flavors were the Apple Pie and Cereal Milk followed closely by Autumn Nut Crunch and Pecan Toffee Crunch. The Pumpkin Spice and Cookie Butter were not as flavorful as I would have wanted. They have quite a few vegan donuts and if you're not vegan, I couldn't even tell the difference between the two. We also got an Autumn Spice Chai Latte which was delicious. If you're a donut lover, I definitely recommend this spot!

Was alright, probably on me for not realizing they would be baked donuts, not fried. Small clean shop, hours are a bit weird.

    Ask the Community - BKeDSHoP

    Are all their doughnuts vegan?

    Yes

Is the lemon lavender donut filled with a flavored jelly or creme?

No, but that would sound really good!

Does anyone know how to find this truck without calling? I can't find the info on their website.

They now have a brick and mortar restaurant near Brittlebank Park and the Riverdogs stadium.

Bakeshop of my dreams!!…read more This truly tiny bakeshop was super close by where I was staying in Downtown Charleston (the Moxy) and I'm so glad it was. I discovered it on Yelp when I was looking for spots to stop by before heading to the airport for my flight for a quick bite. There's the tiny bakeshop storefront and right next door is where they do all the baking. I'm noting this because I almost walked into the other spot but thankfully they had a sign on the door saying it was staff only and the bakeshop was right next door. The storefront itself had all the Southern charm, with a classic flower window box at the window and the friendliest staff greeting you as soon as you walked in. I went on a weekday around 8am and it wasn't busy at all. I was able to peruse their AMAZING selection & had the hardest time choosing. Thankfully, I had my uber waiting for me so I had to make quick decisions. I ended up getting a pastel de nata, everything bagel kolache, fig leaf sugar bun, and a dark choco chip cookie (because I always need to try the local cookie). Everything tasted fresh and delicious! I loved the variety in their pastries and was amazed that there were concepts for pastries I've never heard or tried before. Their menu selection is crazy and I would 100% come back to Charleston just for this bakery. I'll be back again! Thanks to Yelp for bringing me to my now fav bakeshop on this planet.

This ended up being our very last stop before leaving town and it may have just been the best stop of the entire trip. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly, and everyone we encountered from those in line to the employees were incredibly friendly. The bakery itself is absolutely adorable and I immediately found myself wishing I had a bigger suitcase (and a bigger appetite). Deciding what to order was nearly impossible because I wanted at least one of everything. I somehow exercised a tiny bit of self-control in this tiny bakeshop and settled on a breakfast sandwich along with a pastry to go. Both were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I only wish we had discovered Welton's earlier in our trip because I know we would have gone back at least once... probably twice... okay, maybe every morning. If you ever find yourself in Charleston, do yourself a favor and make this a priority stop. 100% worth the wait! A million stars for Weltons Tiny Bakeshop.

The vibe is still effortlessly cozy and creative--flowers, greenery, unusual Christmas gifts, and those little bakery touches that make you want to linger over your latte. This time around, everything felt even better than I remembered. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service had that relaxed but attentive feel. I tried a couple of their seasonal items, and once again the flavors were bright, fresh, and a little unexpected in the best way. Their baked goods are still the standout--beautifully made, not overly sweet & just delicious. It's the kind of place where you can sit with a book, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a slow morning with coffee and something delicious.
