i have been buying christmas trees for 52 years. i had a great experience from b and l in 2019. every tree was perfect. i expected the same quality in 2020. instead we were short 10% and 400 trees were grossly undersized. my garden center would never make up the $15k. i had success for more than 30 years with one grower from st. honore! dont even make a call to him. you'll never get the truth from the owner... his business is made up of exagerations and lies. anyone in the wholsale business would have shipped part of the shortage to keep me as a good customer! stay clear - he is trouble!! read more

I ordered a tree from Groupon for $80- a 6-7 foot balsam fur. It arrived and while it looked beautiful (although no more beautiful than any tree at home depot ) it was the deadest tree I have ever purchased for Christmas. We made a clean cut and still it drinks no water and tons of needles dropping so that some branches are already bare! I purchased the Groupon because this would get me an amazingly FRESH tree not because of price as it was expensive! Very disappointed any no response from BL trees when I sent them an email. Groupon has not responded yet either. I now have googled BL trees and they do not have a sparkling record! I would have thought Groupon would not want to deal with a company with less than stellar reputation. I will be much more cautious with Groupon in the future and would certainly not recommend BL Christmas trees. read more

I would never use this company again. I ordered a Christmas tree through Groupon and was given a delivery date. Not only did my tree not arrive, I was never informed by BL Christmas trees that my order would be late. With children anxiously waiting for a tree, I went out to buy one. Not knowing if or when the ordered tree would arrive. One week later, 10 days before Christmas the tree arrived. Now having 2 trees. I've tried to return the late unwanted tree, I've asked for a refund. This company will not refund me, and wouldn't take responsibility for the late tree. I bought the groupon for a BL Christmas tree, 5-6 foot balsam fir and it's exactly as I hoped. I received the tree when they said they would deliver, it was well wrapped, I untied the tree outside and it dropped lots of needles, but come on, the tree has been chopped down, tied up tight , bagged in plastic, and shipped...so it's going to lose some needles. But, the tree was between 5-6 feet, it was nice and full and dense, looked great after a couple of days untied. It smells wonderful! I think, buying a tree this way is perfect for people that do not have a truck to go get a tree. It's delivered right to your door, any size you want, and it's a good quality tree. Of course, you pay more for the convenience, I'm happy with my purchase. read more

I will never use this company again..i ordered a 5-6 foot tree and the tree is barely 5 feet tall with the top that has to be cut off..it cost like 80 something dollars with shipping..never again..so tired of internet rip offs.. read more
