The interior is spacious with lots of scattered tables. There was a long line and no tables when we came for breakfast. The workers are fast and gave us helpful recommendations. The sandwiches were all very good. The ham tastes more like Oscar Meyer bologna but I didn't mind. We also enjoyed our iced coffees. There is also bathroom in the back but you need to be a paying customer and ask them for the key to use it. I recommend any of the pastries in their display case! We tried a couple and all of them were amazing. Definitely worth trying out some of their food if you're in the area!

Our group was pretty desperate for some lunch so we were relieved to see that Tiki's Grill was open, though for takeout only. They have a menu on the door with names of the dishes only. When asked about prices, the waitress only said that dishes were "mostly over $10" and that add ons were "a couple dollars." It was a bit annoying but we were hungry and willing to pay. It turned out that each dish was about $11 to $12 and add-ons like sweet plantains were about $1. We waited a really long time but I didn't mind too much since it seemed like each dish was being freshly made/fried. I personally got a fried fish taco bowl. The fried fish was pretty good. It seemed fresh and was covered in an avocado/guacamole sauce. The base ingredients were average (just some lettuce and tomato). Overall Tiki's Grill got the job done. Just be aware that things on Culebra work on island time, even more so than the main island. Also we didn't come to Culebra for the cuisine after all so I wasn't too bothered.

She also told us it would be ready in 20 minutes and when we went back in 20 she was like well it's fresh fish to be fried come back in a couple minutes, but it ended up being an hour long wait. It was colourful, warm and welcoming. Culebra is not an island of big fancy 5 star hotels or casinos and that's just what I were looking for. You feel at home in Culebra the moment you are greeted at the airport by Mark or Terrie and this is something that I have never experienced before. Mark and Terrie were over the top, fantastic hosts. They were more than helpful when it came to suggestions on places to dine, activities to do that day or places to rent a kayak or bike. Not only were they friendly and accommodating but they went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a regular B&B in the states. Their thoughtfulness radiates from them like sunshine on the beach. If my boyfriend or I needed anything at all, Mark and Terrie would make sure they recommended something or got it for us. I went to Culebra during Thanksgiving vacation and wasn't expecting to find a Turkey dinner anywhere. To my surprise, I was invited upstairs to Mark and Terrie's place above the guesthouse for a HUGE feast fit for a king. It was great to converse with other guests, meet their friends from the island and get to know Mark and Terrie. I felt like a true islander that had lived here for years and not just a visitor or a guest. I stayed in the Bougainvillea Room which had a Queen sized bed. Each room at the Palmetto included a private bathroom with a shower, mini-refrigerator, an air conditioner and an alarm clock (very helpful, but we didn't use it much... hehe). They provided clean linens and also offered complementary beach towels, snorkeling gear and GREAT coffee every morning.. and this just names a few of the complementary items offered. Beautiful bed and breakfast. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we just loved it. We made…read morefriends with the other guest and that just made it more fun. You can borrow all their snorkel gear and beach stuff at no extra cost. We were picked up from the ferry and were given a small tour of the downtown area which we loved. The bed is comfy and the back porch is relaxing after a long day of the beach.
