Came to a different Black Angus location (not Burbank) and it was a super chill experience. Plenty of parking, big spacious dining area, and no wait at all on a weeknight. The inside has that classic western cowboy vibe which honestly makes it feel kinda fun. Our server was super nice and the service was spotless the whole time. I ordered the large portion prime rib. Took a little longer to come out, but the size was solid and I liked the thick cut. Nice crust, good flavor, and it definitely hit the spot. Slightly tougher than I expected, but still satisfying. We visited the restaurant again last Sunday 4/19/26 to celebrate my 28th wedding anniversary, even though we had a lousy treatment from the woman Maitre 'D last Easter. We thought we gave it another try, since we love their food & drinks. This time we were greeted by a sweet smiling Maitre 'D who asked us where we preferred to sit. Beverly, our server was excellent, patient and accommodating. At the end she asked for my loyalty # which we forgot to give to the last server and the last server didn't bother asking me for it. A friend suggested we try this for his birthday given what he heard about their prime rib. It was good given the price. In fact the drinks and entire meal were great value. Service was fairly good and friendly. The decor is so-so, not fancy, but akin to restaurant chain expectations. Went on Friday October 24 and it was fantastic! We had the Campfire Feast and it was delicious! The NY Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and the Wagon Wheel Sampler was plentiful. And since it was Dodgers baseball game on,it was busy, our food was delivered still hot and quick. The cocktails were yummy! The Halloween special, Bloody Colada, was delicious and substantial. I cant remember the last time I've dined in here but recently their deal for the Steak and Lobster Trio for $25.99 caught our attention. The deal is only available online so we ordered it on a Monday night, and when I picked it up 30 minutes after our set pick up, everything was still warm which impressed me. They also included complimentary molasses bread, also still warm. The meal includes top sirloin, lobster tail, crispy shrimp, and 2 classic sides. - sirloin, medium well, 3 oz: sizeable, and cooked well imo. pretty juicy :) - lobster tail: tasty, slightly salty, came with butter. the container kinda melted which was offputting - crispy shrimp (4 pcs pp): can't go wrong - fries (fluffy crispy), baked potato (came with a sour cream, whipped butter), and mac and cheese which was yummy too. Also ordered salad, but they forgot to include it lol hence the 4/5. Definitely a good portion, and we weren't able to finish the steak and baked potato. At around 8pm it looked barren inside. Maybe like 3-4 tables seated. Hopefully there's more of a crowd on the weekends! read more

Always have a good time here. Everybody from the managers, servers, hostesses, and bidders are quite good. On to the food, the fresh veggie side dishes are quite good, not cooked to death. The potatoes are prepared well, but if I must complain, the mashed potatoes are a bit too salty. On to the steaks, the best has been the 3 oz filet mignon medallions, that's so incredibly tender! My favorite cut is the New York strip however. It's so flavorful. The other cuts are good as well, but those two are the best for me! read more

We've been coming to this location for several years and this time felt different. We had the steak medallions and lobster with two sides. Great price, but the medallions were extremely small and the lobster wasn't the best I've had. I had a side salad, which I always enjoy, and a classic potato that was nicely dressed with butter, sour cream, and green onions. My son had the same but with broccoli and macaroni and cheese. We both also had the blackberry ginger drink and it was very sparkling soda tasting, I didn't taste any ginger ale. I also felt the service wasn't as great as were used to. Date night with the wifee. Was seated as soon as we arrived. Initially there was some confusion with who our server was, however once resolved, we could have not asked for a better server. 12/11/2024 - Received a reminder email from Black Angus "Ends today: $25 bone-in ribeye for Black Angus Reward Members, including a side of fries. I added $2.50 for a side substitute of Wedge salad, which is so fresh, tasty. The size of Wedge salad is large. In my opinion, it beats most upscale Steakhouse 's Wedge salad. The ribeye is aged for 21 days, meaning you can taste the aged flavor without adding any additional sauce. Note: I ordered the steak as Medium, but came as well done. The waitress would like to make a change for me after seeing I had bited the meat by 10%. I told her, "it is okay since it is still very tasty, and don't want to see the waste or adding an additional cost to the restaurant." Again, the Black Angus Steakhouse is a price/performance leader in this area, and wish it will offer more vegetables dishes for a healthy dining experience. This location has been around for a long time. Everyone is always very pleasant and there is never a wait (I've been on different days and times). The food is always good (I usually get a ribeye which comes with 2 sides). They play good music.... Loud enough to hear but low enough to hold a conversation with the people you are dining with. I want to also give a shout out to Kristie. She made great drinks, very nice and attentive (I believe she May be the manager). They have a private parking lot which is never crowded so there is plenty of parking with accessible parking in the front. Bathrooms are clean and the bar area (where I usually sit) is always clean with fast service. I will be back soon! read more

Black Angus is my favorite steakhouse and I have never had a bad experience, until the other night. Server, Pedro G. had an attitude and ruined my entire party's mood. We wanted to get drinks but his attitude killed the mood. We were thinking of leaving but it was late. When I go out to dinner with my friends, which is seldom, I want to have a good time, but it sucks when a server from ur fav restaurant ruins everything. If I wanted to be around rude ppl, I'd go back to work. So it sucks I had to experience this on my day off. First, he seemed way too bothered and annoyed that I asked to split the check at the beginning of ordering. He agreed at first but with an attitude. Then he comes back and says he cannot split the check. Mind u there was only 3 of us and it was not busy at all. The speed of service was good. The food was good as usual except I asked my steak be well done and it was pink. I didn't want to send it back because it was late, I was hungry and I don't like doing all that. I shouldn't have to since I clearly said well done. On top of that, when he brought out my steak, that's the time he asks for my Groupon code which took him 2 minutes to look at on my phone. Not only did this interrupt our conversation, my food was getting cold. What an awkward time to ask. And he didn't hand me my phone back, he dropped it on the table. Closing time is 10 and it was 9pm and they were clearing the tables and vacuuming near our table which is gross, with the noise and dust. I felt like we were being rushed out when there were still other ppl eating. I hope to god next time I do not get this server. Idk if he was having a bad day or what, but he totally made us have a bad experience. Sometimes, I wonder why I even go out. Then I realize why I stopped. Made a reservation for a Saturday night however ended up waiting another 20 minutes for our table. Plenty of tables looked available so I'm assuming it was a staffing issue. When we were finally seated we were helped right away with our drink orders and house bread. The bread was sooo good; fresh, warm and so so soft. We got margaritas, one Cadillac the other not; however both although nice in flavor a were very very mild in alcohol. Even the Cadillac tasted exactly like the regular one. We shared the Campfire feast meal for two and ordered the following foods: *Chipotle Buffalo chicken tenders: so BOMB! Crispy with plenty of sauce absorbed in, each bite was tangy and delicious. *One dish got a full rack of ribs: hefty amount and sliding right off the bone. Everything you want in a rib dish. *Other dish got the filet mignon ordered medium. It actually came out medium rare but was delicious and I ate it just fine. The steak sauce they have that's their brand had a nice vinegar kick to it which I enjoyed very much. *The four sides we ordered were: Mac and cheese: yummy with a nice crumble on top Potatoes au gratin: absolutely delicious and nice portion Roasted green beans: simple but tasty; wish the serving was bigger Mashed potatoes: very very thick; get the au gratin instead And if that wasn't enough food we got dessert: pumpkin cheesecake and let me tell you it was the perfect ending to our meal. Creamy and not too sweet. Overall the service was good, but I think the restaurant needs a face lift or renovation/deep cleaning of some sort. Food was delicious and a great deal! read more

OMG! We've been longtime Black Angus regulars and were so sad when the Ventura location closed. Yesterday, we were in Northridge and decided to stop by for dinner and to our surprise, we saw Kristy, our favorite manager from Ventura! She immediately recognized us, and it honestly made our night especially since it was our daughter's birthday. Kristy went out of her way to make it special, and it meant a lot to us. She has always treated our family with kindness and made every visit feel warm and welcoming. Dinner was excellent as always great food, great service, and a nostalgic vibe.
