As we live in Grant County (and not Silver City), the tax should have been at a 6.3% rate. As it was, the owner charged us at an old Silver City rate (8.25%). The Silver City rate is now 8.125%. So, buyer beware. While the owner did a great job installing the new door, he needs to be sure to charge the correct gross receipts tax.
