In my opinion, if I can't or shouldn't drink then neither should pets. It has a really strong smell, so much so that would not even attempt to drink. Admittedly, I don't know much about canine digestion but I don't believe the water is healthy and possibly harmful. Don't take my word for it. The next time you're there simply inquire about it or just ask to use the sink that right behind the front desk. Another little tid bit that customers should look into is the owner and her criminal history, including litigation that is going on currently. This is not a civil case and it is a very recent indictment. The facts there are also a concern when it comes to the health and safety of your beloved pet.

The first week they work with the dog themselves and the next week you go in for three sessions to learn how to control your dog and use the commands. It's definitely hard at first to drop your new dog off but they let you give them toys and a blanket (no balls though!). After training, if you're still having issues, you can call and schedule a free appointment with one of the trainers to help your dog and you get back on track! Thank you Dorans! - Nora's Mom

It's clear the staff genuinely cares about their guests and advising best practices. It's hard to find a place where you trust any trainer with your best friend but at NK9 I have zero concerns. My dog doesn't do well around large crowds or other canines and I always hesitated boarding him, but he's always enjoyed his stays at NK9 and comes home happy and healthy. Staff even added a heart to his name on his labeled medication - love to see that! Highly recommend this facility for training, boarding, and all else!!

She is a good sweet little girl and the trainer had me hold my puppy's mouth shut and not let her move for 15 minutes without a break. I was visibly upset and asking if we could try something different and the trainer said no. I will absolutely not be going back, and called to inform the national K9 of this experience. They said that should not have happened with a trainer. This experience was very negative and my vet warned could cause trauma in the future. Updating: The lead trainer called me and informed me that she apologized and was sincerely upset about how My puppy was treated and is actively handling the situation.

He was an absolute mess of anxiety and that is where Buckeye Dog Training came in and succeeded wildly. For our trainer we had Molly, who was beyond professional, showed up to all of our appointments on time and with her lessons prepared. She gave us clear, direct tips and taught exactly what we had to do to help our dog. Not only that but she was a sweetheart that legitimately cared about our dog's well-being and mental state. For five lessons stretched over 4 months, we crate trained, leash trained, learned 6-8 new commands that help our dog understand what we expect of him. We completely broke him of his separation anxiety and now WILLINGLY goes into his crate before we leave for work. I recommend dog training to everyone. I believe it is an integral part of sharing your home with a dog, someone that depends on you to take care of it and to teach it what is right and wrong within your home. Buckeye Dog Training and Molly specifically were great, worth the price 100%, and we feel secure that if anything where to ever happen with Rory's training, Molly would be there and help out in anyway she can. If you've got a grumpy dog, get it trained and get it trained by these guys. They're great.
