Though there was a Spanish speaker with me, we appreciate the staff also speaking English to help me. Always love the aesthetic and elegant vibes this restaurant has. Low lighting does make it a little harder to see. Food is always so flavorful especially for their vegan options. Portions are pretty large In my opinion. I also appreciate wine and mezcal options from vineyards and distilleries throughout Mexico.

The Caldo de Frijol was incredible -- gorgeous tableside presentation where they pour the broth over the beans and beef. The Betabel crujiente (crispy beet salad) might be the best beets I've ever eaten. Both went straight into my favorite dishes of the trip. The Filete Res Chichilo was excellent. Tarta de Manzana a perfect close. Tlayuda Setas was unique and very good but didn't quite live up to the rest. Tacos Minilla were the weakest. Would absolutely recommend.
