Black sheep is an excellent respite in the middle of a chaotic bus terminal adjacent to Heathrow airport. During the day, the Black Sheep café provides the only sane place to sit and relax. The food is good. The coffee is good is the only show in Town

    Latte + super comfy seats!

I arrived in London quite early and was excited to try this cafe (look how cute it is!). The seating area was very comfy, lots of areas to charge your phone/work if needed, and I loved the atmosphere it was very cozy. It was pretty early so I don't really mind the interaction with the staff. The Nutella/Strawberry waffle was pretty good! The waffle is thin, crisp, warm, and folded in half with slices of strawberries and a good amount of Nutella sandwiched between. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the latte as it tasted a little bitter but if you need a place in the early AM to grab a bite I did think the waffle was quite tasty and the place is very comfortable!

    Perfect rainy day activity.

First off, I have to say that the service here is great. Which, if you live in London, you know how rare a commodity that can be. They also have a pretty sweet program, where if you sign into their WiFi at any Black Sheep Coffee shop, you get a voucher for a cup on the house, which lasts up to a week. That being said, not much went right on my visit here. Being a traveler from out of town, restroom breaks can be few and far between on any given day. The last thing you want is to stop by for a cup of coffee and have to go hunt down a restroom at another establishment while they make your coffee; which is what I had to do, given that there is no loo here. Second bummer was the lack of space. I was fortunate enough to be able to snag a booth to enjoy my coffee and bagel in, but had to rush out of there when I saw an elderly woman desperately looking for somewhere to sit, and no others being forthcoming with their own. I would hate to see this place during rush hour. Finally, while I was raised better than to complain about something I got for free, I feel it necessary to mention that my coffee was a little on the strong side, to the point where I couldn't finish it. That doesn't usually happen at other Black Sheep establishments. All that nastiness aside, however, maybe I was just having an off day. And given their selection of smoothies and teas, it might be worth giving this place another shot.

Had this chance to try this place while in the bus terminal with hubby in Heathrow Airport. Ambiance is just chill.. people come and go. It is a quick spot for a not so heavy meal refreshments (sandwiches.. regular hot or iced coffees.. waffles etc) we ordered a couple of sandwiches and drinks to share with. The ready packed chorizo sandwich is light and good for my tasting.. not overwhelming and I paired it with caramel frap which is sweeter than the average that I usually have. Hubby had the Greek sandwich with the turmeric drink which he liked. We didn't waited that long for them to mix our drinks since the sandwiches are ready to go. There's a ready carafes of water in one area that we're infused with mint leaves, lemon etc.. ready for customers. Also, there's a plugged in station on the left side for customer's who may need some juice for their phones. #leavetheherd

Friendly staff, great coffee! We stumbled upon Black Sheep Coffee while walking around on a nice sunny afternoon. Enjoyed the coffee outside in the sunshine.

The coffee here was good- strong! - and the people working here were very friendly. My husband and I were very pleased.

My sister-in-law is an amazing planner, and since we were meeting family in London for a few days, she planned a wonderful tea for us here at Tea and Tattle. This place is an old family bookstore that was then turned into a wonderful spot for afternoon tea {with still carrying on the feel and look of a quaint book shop}. Reservations are required since it is only large enough for two, maybe three seatings at a time. Once your party is seated, you will receive your menu and decide on the Tea menu that you desire {how many Teas, Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones - with a wide variety of each}. Would you prefer a Coffee, a Smoothie or a Salad? No worries, they have those options as well. Be sure to inform your host about any allergies as they can customize your tea settings based on any restrictions. The Hubs and I decided on the Tea For One - This included a pot of Earl Grey {or your tea of choice}, a selection of five Mini Tea Sandwiches which may vary {ours included Cream Cheese, Chive and Cucumber / Mature Cheddar and Chutney / Ham, Rocket and Red Onion Marmalade / Ham with Mayo, Mustard and Tomato / Chicken with Cucumber and Lemon Mayo Chutney}, Scones topped with a Delicious, Mouth-Watering Cream and Strawberry & Raspberry Jams as well as Lemon Cake and Mini Chocolate Eclairs. Each guest will also be served a deliciously tangy glass of lemonade as a final sip for the afternoon. Every single bite and sip of tea was perfectly paired and the experience was a wonderful way to spend our last day in London with the family. I highly recommend this experience if you want to feel a little extra fancy and enjoy a spectacular afternoon tea.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
