The deal…read morestated that mandatory booking was required by calling a phone number and providing the Coupon code, which is common on Groupon. Between buying the deal and the deal expiring four months later, I called the number countless times but never got through to anyone: the number would ring and ring and then say that the number could not take my call, leaving no option to leave a voicemail. The number was an Irish mobile number, rather than a landline number to the business itself. I also tried making an appointment by email just after buying the deal but didn't receive a response. I tried one last time by email when my Groupon was about to expire, and received a response saying they couldn't book an appointment for me as they were fully booked until the expiry date. In response to my query about calling, the email said they always respond to their clients so they probably just couldn't reach me when they called me back. I didn't have any missed calls on my phone, so not sure what happened there. They advised that I contact Groupon to resolve the issue, which was a little frustrating as the issue lay with not being able to reach the clinic to make an appointment, not with Groupon. In the end I lost out on a treatment I paid for, simply because I couldn't book myself in. I've heard good things about Ren Shen, but I'd be worried about buying another deal in case the same thing happens again!

I'm interested in natural remedies and alternative medicine so I went in for a consultation for a minor health problem. The doctor (if I can call him that) took my pulse and asked me a series of general health questions. After talking for five minutes, he told me that I had too many toxins in my body and recommended tablets to take everyday for the next three weeks to treat the problem internally. He suggested two natural creams for the external treatment. The total cost of all three products came to 80 Euro. The only way to decide whether or not Chinese medicine works is to actually try it. I wasn't ready to risk the money but overall impressed by the doctor's diagnosis and treatment approach.

I got front upper tooth zirconium crown done for €500. Where few other dentist offered to get the job done for €700-800 and only for metal crown. Zirconium usually is €100 more. I liked the German dentist, who also made one filling. They have pen camera, so you can see live view of your teeth on the monitor. General service is quite lovely. Nurse was doing best job I've ever seen. Jumping around every minute or so and checking on the drain tube. Dentist was also very gentle and king to explain what was necessary to be done and what could wait. They even asked, if I'm flying back home (Lithuania), as it would be much cheaper to get my teeth fixed. Can you believe that? So honest. On a downside, the place (don't be confused with the medical equipment) is a bit crumbling. Waiting lobby is cold and small, nothing comfy. You might end up waiting for half hour or so. Be patient.

He works monday to friday from 10.30am-1pm and 5-7pm and then he works on a saturday by appointment. I have been to many doctors in my life and he is the first that i am happy to stick with. He genuinely cares about his patients and is always willing to listen and take whatever action is needed. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone. He does home visits on request as well. Top notch Doc!
