It is good for picking up basic items. You wouln't go there if you were having a shopping spree as there aren't that many shops so your options are quite limited. Parking is adequate, and not excessively priced (free on Sundays). The car park can get full at peak periods such as Christmas.

Well trained and helpful/attentive staff who try to help whenever possible. Has some material section to the rear which is also quite handy. Has numerous items cheaper than supermarkets/shops and is high quality. Well worth a visit if you can't find something or like to rummage in shops with lots and lots of products. Nice corner location on the high street makes it easy to find as well as standing out from the usual retail chains you find in every town and city.

Today, 31 March I received a phone call from his wife who told me I bought a sheet at the same time. I did not, I purchased only a bath towel. She insisted I did, and told me she would have to look through their videos as everyone is videod as they enter the shop, pay for the item and leave. This couple clearly do not trust their customers, and I am furious at being called a liar, because that is what they are doing. I know what i bought, the towel is still in their bag ready to be returned. I would never go into this shop again. I am an honest person and have never stolen anything in my 71 years. I would never suggest any of my friends visit this shop. Watchout you are filmed at your every move, what a shame they have no respect for their customers and distrust everyone of us. They keep you chatting and kid you they are being friendly whilst their cameras a spying on you. Nice people !!!

I'd recommend the shop for discerning buyers who know what they want to give or what the child would like. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. There's lots here that you wont find in Argos orTesco. Prices are higher but that's to be expected and you don't get personal service in Tesco. There's always an excellent range of games, kids craft stuff, lego, hornby, scalextric, some models, dolls, toy cars and smaller tv-themed stuff. I recently discovered there is even an upstairs to the store which means there is even more to see! Its like an Aladdins cave! The staff are very friendly and happy to give advise if you are looking for help with a present, a great shop that I will use again.

Downstairs is womenswear and there is always something to buy as it is so cheap. They do nice ladies pyjamas and dressing gowns. Upstairs is menswear, childrens, babies and housewares. The duvet covers are nice and wash well and very cheap, there are some nice cushions for living room and bedroom and nice smelling candles. There is usually a queue at the tills but there is a lot of tills and staff and you can get served quickly but it takes ages on a Saturday.

It's not the Ritz, of course, but nice for a low-cost break if you are shopping in the area. They also have a selection of cakes and sandwiches. There's a good sized car park, from which it is also a short walk to a number of other retailers, like Screwfix, Wickes, and ToolStation.
