Amazing staff and great facility. If you're not religious, don't let the Christian thing deter you…read more I moved my infant son here after a different daycare I felt wasn't to my standard and have been extremely happy with the care at GAC. The staff in the infant room is outstanding and so caring. I genuinely feel their love for all the babies. Ms. Jess, the director, knows every single child by name and would go to bat for all of them. All the rooms have cameras you can access if you want to check in which was great as a new mom with an infant. I felt extremely comfortable dropping my 12week old off in their care. They're very thorough in keeping you up to date with everything your child is doing and send lots of pictures. The staff is truly what makes this place great.

Full disclosure: I did not end up taking my child here, but that's because of how bad my tour…read moreexperience was. Right at the beginning of the tour, the owner introduced herself and immediately said that she's a " big proponent of moms staying at home." She then proceeded to interrogate me as to why I wasn't staying home with my child and would not let up when I wasn't forthcoming with an answer. Then, the woman leading the tour forgot my last name (which is obviously totally fine!) but rather than ask what it was she just started to refer to my baby as "baby Lopez".... we are Hispanic and my last name is Perez... Even if those things hadn't happened I would not be taking my child here. In the infant room, "baby shark" was playing so loudly over the speakers that they were shaking and I couldn't hear anyone talking. How is that good for infant-ears? There was a playroom with a single toy and toddlers just running in circles for their free time. I saw a caretaker shove a kid into his seat. And, unless I'm missing something, their "cots" for nap time are essentially plastic Tupperware lids that the kids lay on. There was also a kid that was visibly sick and unattended to. If you're looking for Christian judgement with a side of racism and low-quality care for your kid, this is the spot! At least the price is right.

Do not take 4 stars lightly. I am a harsh critic and 4 stars means you're doing pretty darn well…read more I love the Children's Nest! My husband loves the Children's Nest! But most importantly, MY KIDS LOVE THE CHILDREN'S NEST! When you first go for a tour, it's not too much to look at compared to some more (much more) expensive daycare facilities. But they have all the space they need for the kids and it is kept CLEAN. They have separate classrooms for different ages. They have a huge indoor play area (for bad weather days) and plenty of outdoor spaces that are catered to your child's specific developmental needs (i.e. big kids go to the big kid's play ground while the younger kids have smaller and infant/toddler friendly play areas). They provide meals and snacks, unless your child has dietary restrictions then you provide the food. But they are very adamant about following your directions in regards to feedings, potty training and any other special need you/your child may have. The best part about the daycare is that all of the teachers genuinely love and care for each child. EVERY teacher knows my children's names, even if they do not teach or interact regularly with them every day. And my kids are always excited to go, learn, play...and they nap! That is a bonus! You get a verbal report of how their day was and in the 1-2 yr old class you get a written report as well. Ok, this was a long review. Bottom line, they are awesome! I'd give them 5 stars if they would provide lactose free milk =) -Sonia

I was treated rudely when I contacted The Children's Nest to inquire about availability for my son…read more The first time I called, I was told that the person who could answer my questions was out, but they took my contact information. They never returned my call. A week later, I tried again, and once again the person was not available. This time, however, they did call me back the next day. At first they were friendly, telling me that they may be able to fit him in. When I told them that I was seeking short-term child care (two months), they abruptly switched me to a different person. This second person made me ask my question again, then tersely told me that they couldn't help me and rushed me off of the phone. I completely understand that short-term child care is not something that everyone offers, but that is no reason to treat me like a pest for asking!
