T blackstone tire installed a leveling kit on my truck and did not torque the ball joint bolts in the front end of my truck which Caused damaged to my 2022 Chevy truck. I took my truck to the Chevy dealership to have the repairs done correctly and the owner of Blackstone tire was arguing and cussing at the service manager wanting the dealership yo take ownership of his mistake wanting the dealership to repair my truck under warranty instead of him fixing and taking ownership of his mistake of his faulty work. I took my new 2022 car here for a level kit install. The same day I left and started hearing clunking noises. I dismissed it thinking it was the springs adjusting. However, the noise never went away. I took it back and sure enough, they told me I had a leak on my axle. I'm thinking it's there fault, but "Robert" tells me that I could've hit a rock. So I'm thinking maybe there's a chance he's right, although I completely disagree, so I didn't fight it. Honda replaced my axle under warranty but advised that I would be needing new ball joints as it was also leaking from damage. From the damages, you can see that it appeared as if the technician from Blackstone Tire used a hammer and was banging on my lower control arm during the level kit install. It was obviously not a rock that hit the bottom of the car. I took it back and these crooks not only told me that it wasn't there fault, but due to my car being hoisted in the air, I could not get it back unless I paid a diagnostic fee. You can bet that a lawsuit from me is coming their way. read more

Came to Blackstone Tire with the need for a custom autocross alignment on my 2017 wrx. They got everything I needed dialed in to exactly what I wanted. There's not too many places that can get this done and the price, even though it was more than an average alignment, was way less than some other performance shops will charge. SLOPPY & UNPROFESSIONAL WORK!!!! I got home to all 6 lugs on my front driver side wheel and 3 lugs on both rears extremely loose to the point where i could remove them by hand... they claim to be experts but don't know how to use a torque wrench. now about a month later i'm blowing down my driveway and find a bunch of wheel weights and sure enough i'm missing them on 2 wheels. this place is an embarrassment and does not take their work seriously. read more

Was referred here by another shop, just up the street (Siegfried's) who have been doing business with these folks forever. My first time there, met Blake -he was -extremely helpful with project, charged nothing, and met the recommendation from Mike and Claus. I actually had (nearly new) tires on my Yukon from another place, but they turned out to be too small... So, I stopped in, before closing on afternoon, talked with Jessica, and she cut me a great deal on 5 Ironmans. They were there to be installed the next morning, install went great, and the tires do exactly what i was hoping for. Now? the truck is running and handling beautifully, and it didn't take long at all. I am extremely happy with their service, the time spent, 'figuring out what would get me the results i wanted', and being given an excellent price on a better product. This is not some big chain, but they are able to sell better quality at extremely competitive prices, with remarkable coverage, -and the staff are knowledgeable and really work well with clients. I bought 4 new tires and went with the Atturo Trail Blade Mt. They were the cheapest and that included install and balance. I worked with Rob and he is sharp and knows his tires. Owner of shop said they could change out ball joints on my vehicle for $180. He called me the following day asking for an additional $100 saying it was taking his tech longer than expected and asked for additional money saying it was "only fair" and that the tech was "getting it done". When I showed up to pick up my vehicle I immediately heard slight thumping noises when turning vehicle. I took it back to the shop and the owner said the "ball joints I provided must have failed" these were brand new OEM ball joints. I got home and upon further review found the tech had used an air hammer and deformed the ball joint housing AND severely damaged the ball joint. The tech also did not use the washers and gouged the castle nut into the steering knuckle. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Also found one of the brake line bracket bolts was snapped off so I had to tap and remove that bolt, replace the whole steering knuckle on both sides and buy NEW ball joints and have them installed correctly. A shop should have proper equipment for pulling/replacing ball joints especially when providing a quote for the job. Using an air hammer is NOT the right way to remove a ball Joint. If they did not have the right equipment for the job I wish they would've told me. The repair cost for this mess was unbelievable and they do not take responsibility. Reported to BBB. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. read more

Lying money hungry pos... don't fall for the positive reviews. Got lowering springs installed on my car but only 2 days later realized that both my front axles were leaking, took it to a different shop and my Honda dealer since I no longer trust this greedy crook they confirmed that the springs were incorrectly installed. Went back to Blackstone tire to let him know and of course he denied everything, lied in my face saying "your axles are good, they're not leaking. The shop who told you they are is just trying to get you to pay them money." He dismissed the leaking fluid out of both axles as "grease that they rubbed on." Not even gonna try to go back and forth with this guy. I'd rather pay the $700 it costs to replace both at a professional and honest shop. He also said "we don't even touch the axles when we do the install" what??? That literally makes no sense... also said "we installed them from under the hood" that's not even possible, how the hell are you gonna install springs from under the hood? .. dead giveaways that this guy was lying about everything. From the moment I heard him speak on the phone to the moment I first saw him I could already tell what kind of stingy person this guy was, seemed really shady and eager for money, has "thief" written all over him. But instead of going with my gut, I went ahead and went with the install anyways as I was really excited to lower my car and this shop was the only one that could have it done that same day, save your money. The first time I came here was about 6:15 P.M. I had a bad tire and they were already closing up. Rob said "No, come on in. We we'll take care of you." I was impressed. Instead of just fixing the tire I had, he recommended I replace it with a used one that was in better condition since this one was damaged on the side wall and he wanted me to be safe. He was more than fair, honest and mostly concerned about my family's safety on the road. He took his time helping me even though it was past closing time. I will always come back here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! I bought BRAND NEW not used tires but new ones that went flat on me in less then 3 months. I've had used tired last longer than that!! And when I went back to try and get the warranty on it and they wouldn't do it because they were trying to tell me my car was in a accident & they can't fix it due to my bumper being taped my car was never in an accident, or was never even damaged to the point where a tire shop doesn't want to put tires on. I've went to many places that have easily fixed my tires no problem. They're just a cheap company who doesn't go through with their warranties. I had my mom and her husband go in beforehand and make sure i could even get it done so I didn't waste my time or anything. When it was them they had no issues saying they could fix it because of the warranty but when me and my girlfriend went in they were completely different about it and acted like i was an idiot. I went to them and was quoted 100$ for an alignment. Once I was on the alignment rack I was told it would be an extra 20$ because of how low I am. I told them that's fine so they hooked up my car and I was told my alignment was good and did not need adjustment. so basically I paid 120$ for them to tell me I dont need an alignment haha. I mean I guess they did do their job technically but they could have atleast just charged me what I was quoted since they didnt even touch my car. I have had multiple friends have bad experiences here and definitely would not reccomend. read more

This is by far the only tire shop I will ever go to again I needed tires and didn't have a lot of money. Zane (the man behind the counter) was super friendly and gave me the best deal in town. The waiting room was really clean, has very comfortable chairs and a big flat screen TV to enjoy. They were very fast at changing my tires. I saw a young family with kids in there, and Zane was over the top nice to them!! I would totally recommend this place to anyone, even my mom!!! read more
