The installation looked great, and they cleaned everything up before they left. I had to catch a flight the next day, so I didn't get a chance to inspect every room before leaving, but from what I saw, everything looked excellent. They even stayed late to make sure everything was finished before I had to leave for the airport. That meant a lot because my schedule was tight. The first installation was so poorly done that the flooring manufacturer had to become involved. Unfortunately, getting the installer to take responsibility and address the problems resulted in delays that stretched on for **almost a year**. After finally getting a second installation, many of the workmanship and property-care issues remained. The installation was riddled with basic quality problems: terrible miters, significant chip-out, inconsistently cut boards creating visible gaps, and excessive spacing along the walls that prevented the baseboards from being properly installed without additional flooring repairs. Multiple boards were not properly connected or leveled, leaving raised edges and lips that are noticeable and can be felt underfoot. Even more concerning, the installers glued down a floor that was designed to be floating. In other areas, they nailed directly through the flooring, damaging the boards and creating a potential injury hazard. There was also damage and mess throughout the property. My garden beds and landscaping were treated with very little care or respect. Dust, flooring debris, and construction waste were dumped against my trees and throughout the landscaped areas rather than being properly contained and cleaned up. This created additional cleanup and concern for my landscaping. What made the experience even more frustrating was the difficulty in getting these issues taken seriously. Despite the extensive problems with the original installation and the manufacturer's involvement, the installers apparently considered this their best work. That speaks volumes about the level of craftsmanship and quality control you can expect. This was not a case of a few minor cosmetic imperfections. Superior Floors to the rescue!!…read more Before moving into our new house, we had the tile replaced with vinyl plank (LVP) by another company, who really screwed up one of the rooms. There was a giant soft spot since they started removing the tile but then stopped and just laid the vinyl planks over the tile, including the big hole they left. We went round and round with the first company to try getting them to fix it, until they just stopped showing up or returning phone calls. I found Superior Floors on Yelp and called them to see if they would be willing to fix someone else's mistake. Ryan came out to evaluate the situation and came up with a plan. A couple of weeks later, the installers came out, removed the poorly laid vinyl planks, removed the tile that was supposed to have been removed by the previous company, and reinstalled the planks. To directly address their continued claim they were misled and a rogue employee performed the install, we have on camera Ricardo Naldi (the registered owner) coming to my home to bid the job, and then himself and three other employees on the following days coming in RNALDI branded T-shirts and in an RNALDI labeled vehicle to perform the install. No one was misled; RNALDI had every opportunity to inspect the site and perform an assessment of the materials to be installed. They sold us the glue and the vapor barrier as evidence by the checks they endorsed and cashed. The result of the work speaks for itself. We relied on their alleged expertise and professionalism, as well as their assurance that their work was insured. I am not sure why either Ulysses or Ricardo continue to state here misleading information or deny responsibility for the work they themselves performed. We will now pursue other options in order to remedy this situation.
