I called Blades N Spades to have some shrubbery trimmed, remove/stump grind a hedge row and mow the lawn at a rental property I own. The lawn was over grown and had to be mowed twice.
I should not have chosen this company. The quality of their work was poor and incomplete. I had to call to complain that the roots of the hedge row had not been ground down. The lawn was not raked and looked like a hay field. Limbs and branches from the hedge row were left in piles. The proprietor said that raking was not part of the deal. I paid the $850.00 bill and just chalked it up as a lesson learned. Yesterday I was mowing the lawn there and a crew from Blades N Spades mistook me for competitor. They said that they had been mowing this lawn bi-weekly (UNTRUE) and wanted to know what I was doing. I saw red! I told them to KISS OFF. The proprietor called me later and claimed that I owed him additional money for mowing. OUCH! What a scammer.
Avoid dealing with these people. Don't get burnt. read more
