We grow fruit. You will love the fruit, too. Peaches all summer, apples, cherries, apricots, plums, berries, melons, all types of fruit. We offer CSA memberships so you can always eat well. To that end, we also grow a bunch of vegetables. Each week the CSA members receive fruit and vegetables grown here at the farm. Eating well has never been so easy.

History

Established in 2008.

With no farming experience we started Blades Orchard in 2008. Since then we have learned that not having experience does not hold us back. Innovation of products, selling opportunities, and ideas about what a farm can be have all come together to create an experience that every visitor and patron enjoys. Blades Orchard started with 2200 trees, since then we have more than doubled the trees. Blades Orchard is beautiful from the start of bloom in April throughout the year. We welcome visitors to the farm and to the farmers markets in which we participate. The website (bladesorchard.com) will direct you to all the ways to find us in your neighborhood. Meet the Business Owner: Stephen and Lynda B.

Stephen will tell you, "I am production, Lynda is everything else". He does take pride in the orchards and it shows in the quality fruit you always get from Blades Orchard. Lynda is the vegetable grower, with a lot of help from the production crew. Together, we strive to bring fruit and vegetable to everyone that visits us at the farm or at the farmers markets we frequently weekly. We had no experience in farming when we decided this was the life we wanted. Since that time we have learned some things but humbly submit that farming has many more lessons to teach us. Farming is rewarding. Knowing that you are choosing us to grow your food gives us the energy required to make it great food.
