I am one of the OGs at the NYC Blank Street since anything matcha has my attention, so I was positively delighted to find them expanded beyond NYC to obtain reliably delightful matcha on a moment's notice. The one in Flatiron is the worst location with the lowest quality drinks, only tourists that don't know better make that mistake more than just the one time they randomly passed Eitan Bernath on 5th Ave and needed a cold drink to come back down to reality. Considering this one was right off the train station at TD Garden I was lightly concerned that this was another tourist trap and the better one was tucked away in whatever the UES is of Boston; I saw another one was in Beacon Hill about a ten minute walk from this spot but time is money and I just wanted my brekkie. Concerns were allayed about the drink and food quality rather quickly. Rather than comparing apples to apples with the blueberry matcha I always get in NYC, I decided to try something new in a new city. The banana bread matcha was good fun to try something new. It was eminently refreshing in a modern way, a much different post-drink bliss than the blueberry matcha you get from the beautiful hues of blueberry and the fruit working her magick too. The spinach and cheddar scone was transcendent here too. It paired perfectly with the banana bread flavours in the matcha. The scone was sufficiently moist that it was recently made fresh rather than plucked from the hot dog turner at the nearby 7 Eleven. It is a small cramped store that was far louder than it should have been relative to what the Blank Streets in NYC sound like at similar levels of packed. This is one I did not want to linger in, so my matcha and scone briskly sashayed out into the morning sun with me to a quieter place. Less vibes than NYC, more of a Starbucks liminal space.

Daydream matcha: 0/10 Tasted like the leftover milk after you have Cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Not good. The line was out the door.

Knowing my wife and I would be staying in Boston for a night, I knew we needed to check out a coffee/drink spot in the morning. Looking for a close spot to our hotel was important but the biggest part needed to be a drink that stood out. Once I came upon Blank Street the flavors of matcha they had it was an instant yes we are coming here. Firstly location wise it is real close to the hotel we stayed at. Also close to TD Garden so if you are near that area check this place out. It is a chain that appears to have multiple locations in Boston and New York with some others in DC as well as London and overseas. Despite coffee being part of their name and obviously having coffees available including all you'd expect plus some special flavors the attraction to this place seems to be the matcha. It was certainly our reason to visit. On to this specific location it is quite tiny with a handful of seats inside so get there early for those. Also if there is a long line I'd expect it to be out the door. We chose a good time and only had one person in front of us but line was almost outside when we left. My wife got their blueberry matcha and I got their cookies and cream matcha. Both were very tasty with good flavor. I would give a little extra nod to the cookies and cream being slightly better. High quality drinks with a good mix of matcha flavor plus the flavor additions without either being too much, well balanced. Food wise they had a small amount of baked goods available, which my wife and I both got a ham and cheese croissants. They warmed them up with made the cheese melted just right! The croissants tasted good with a nice buttery flavor. Staff were friendly and working hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. I would like to return and give their coffee a try but will likely grab another matcha as they were very good! We left very impressed!

I love the matcha here! The lattes are really pretty and you can really taste the matcha. I also got a cheddar scone, and it was really delicious.

So good that we went on both days during our trip to the city! I loved their different flavor options for matcha - as a huge fan of matcha anything, I really enjoyed the drinks here! The cookies and cream matcha was absolutely delicious with cookie pieces at the bottom and not too sweet overall. The blueberry matcha has a subtle blueberry flavor that accompanied the matcha well. While the quality of the matcha isn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid 4/5. The service here was also great especially considering the small space, and constant stream of people due to its location. They were quick to fulfill orders and maintained quality each time.

The only location of Blank Street where I don't have to wait on a ridiculously long line to order. I usually order the strawberry shortcake matcha and it's my favorite. A really good balance of matcha, milk and strawberry though a tad too sweet for me. I've also tried their iced blueberry matcha and while it was definitely less sweet than the strawberry it sadly didn't have as strong of a blueberry flavor than I expected to.

First time trying Blank Street and I was so excited! This place was bigger than I thought it would be which I was happily surprised by. There were 5 tables to hangout and drink your beverage which I liked. The coffee was STRONG in the best way possible, felt like it really kept me going for the rest of the day. I had their white chocolate raspberry mocha (that's a mouthful!) and it was literally heaven!! Would recommend, and they also have different matcha flavors! One thing to note is it is pricy and I paid almost $8 for my coffee but I feel like I just expect to pay that nowadays so wasn't much of a shock. The workers were so friendly and quick with my order -- they even said happy Valentine's Day as I got my drink. So sweet! Coming back here again!

Super cute and small! Barista was very friendly as well. Ordered the day dream latte with oat milk and it was yummy! It tasted like cinnamon cereal milk. Would come again and try their other drinks.

Banana bread matcha latte and catching up on emails at Blank Street by TD Garden!

Delicious banana bread matcha latte! Wish there was more sitting and outlets inside, but great for a quick coffee or matcha run. Great location right next to TD Garden in downtown Boston! 8.5/10

This blank street location is cute! Very fast service, a few open tables, and tasty matcha. I got an iced blueberry matcha latte with ice milk and loved it!

That might be because of its location..it's kind of tucked away and the first time it took us a while to find. The easiest way to get there is to walk in to north station by the star market entrance, turn left and walk straight until you get to the doors and then walk through those and you'll see it (you'll pass Dunkin on the way). It's not what I would describe as a cozy coffee shop, it's the kind of place where you get your coffee and then leave. Now the drinks themselves.. The coffee cream/coffee ice cream is DELICIOUS. This was the first thing I ever tried and it blew me away. It is very heavy but so yummy. The latte affogato is also delicious, probably because they use that coffee cream in it! The Americano is great with any of the coffee blends. The Nutella latte is also one of my favorites, especially if you like Nutella. The gingerbread affogato was great too! This is a seasonal item I think but if it's there definitely try it! Everything here is so great, and the rotating specials make it very easy to want to keep going back and trying new ones. Highly recommend!

We had already eaten but wanted to grab a drink and couldn't pass up trying a bubble tea spot. So as you'd expect this review is solely for just drinks. Service wise we ordered from the little kiosk which worked well and allowed for plenty of customizing of your drink. That was a positive but also could be a quick way to make your price sky high with most additions being an extra dollar. They give you an order number that will be called when your order is ready. As we were waiting a worker did ask if we were waiting and for our order number and then they seemed to put a rush on making it and they apologized for the wait. Which honestly I did not think we had a long wait but appreciated the staff still. Overall the space for waiting is limited but won't hold that in a negative light since it's a food hall. I grabbed a Mango Fruit Tea with mango popping boba added while my wife got their toasted brown sugar milk tea. Both were pretty good but neither blew us away. My wife did not like the syrup in her brown sugar milk tea, had an odd flavor to it. Maybe we should have picked different drinks that would have impressed more. I would return to give some of their food a try in the future and more drinks though. Friendly staff with decent drinks and located in a very convenient location if you are visiting TD Garden.

I do not go out for coffee much anymore due to the convenience and cost effectiveness of a Breville and am often frustrated paying over $5 for mediocre coffee, but flour cafe was not in this boat. Even better was the fact that these drinks were served by someone with a warm spirit and smile.. hard to get great service these days. Also, I am not eating flour until March but my wife said the ham and cheese croissant was incredible: generous portion of ham and cheese, baked to perfection, and not too bread(y).
