When she finally came to our house, she charged us $175, invoicing us from a business other than Village Garden Center. We had to chase her for the plan the contract offered. It was poorly done, hand-written in haste. We were never informed of this charge until she expected payment on the spot. Excavation of old, overgrown plantings required Village Garden Center gentleman to come give us a quote for clearing the area for new plantings. He looked at the plan we were provided and agreed there were too many plants. His final estimate provided no specificity of the plants and seemed pretty high. At least we could finally get this project done. He never called us back to schedule the job. After being strung along for almost a year, we gave up and found a more reputable landscaper.
