Salt n vinegar chips were really crunchy but didn't have much salt or vinegar flavor. Pretzel bites were a little dry, but hot, buttery and salty. Nice atmosphere. Stopped in one day at the new location out west because we had only been to the beer garden downtown during the CWS, we had never tried the food. Went here on one of my infrequent West omaha trips. Great place. Love the atmosphere and the menu. Food is good and service is great. Definitely has that West Omaha vibe with the people from that large fitness place nearby stopping by. We went on a Saturday night at 5:45. It was really busy and loud. Not that we expected anything different, but tables are so close that it's hard to have a conversation. Our server was ok, he wasn't personable, but he was busy. Food was good. I had the Root Burger which was bland, but I slathered some of their sauces and made it better. Went on a Tue night. Place was half full. Wide mix of age ranges. Three servers said "someone will be right with you". That included the manager and our own server. Being in the restaurant business wouldn't you at least grab waters if we sat that long? Finally got water and ordered chips. Server had to be flagged to order our drinks. Finally got those- Moscow Mules- pre made mix - wouldn't order two.... We ordered noodles for kids, husband got burger and I ordered fries as app. Total bill $76 with tip!! Fries were over cooked and cold. They only do burger medium or done. ( no Med rare allowed). It came well done. Seats very uncomfortable. We've been wanting to try Blatt for awhile. We finally got the courage to try the interestingly named menu items...I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had a burger. The chicken and waffles was good but the jalapeños in the waffles just wasn't my cup of tea. The chicken however was delicious and my wife thought that the ketchup on her burger had a smokey flavor and overall was good. Blatt has a nice selection of Beers and I sampled a few before going to the boring old PBR on draft. Our service was very good, we got service from more than one server if my wife's soda needed refreshing they were on top of it. My only complaint is there were a very large number of tables (large tables as well) that had reserved signs on them but no one sat on them the hour and a half we were there. read more

My husband and I went to Blatt for the first time. We'd heard about the one downtown, but never got the chance to go there. So, we decided to have dinner at the new one in Legacy, since it's so much closer to our house. I tried the Kale Caesar, which was pretty good. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich, which he said had an interesting flavor to it. We also had the pretzel bites for an appetizer. Not much to say about those. I didn't try them but my husband said they were just pretzel bites with a couple of dipping sauces. Pretty nice atmosphere, especially the old Rosenblatt letters on the wall. I definitely remember our bartender Tony who had us dying laughing the whole time. We will probably go back because he was a lot of fun and was very personable. read more

First off, the food and beer are pretty good. The ratio of how good the food tastes is directly related to how fried it is, with the notable exceptions of the pretzel bites and the chicken and waffles, which is the best thing on the menu. The pretzels themselves are okay, the sauce is bomb. This place is awesome at sauces. Staff is pretty relaxed and laid back, super friendly. Can't remember the guy's name that we had, so I'll call him Chad. Chad was tall and had a beard and was entertaining and professional, and also he prevented me from getting a tray of whatsit dumped on me. I really do like this place, but I avoid it often because it is usually jam-packed and sometimes the other staff can be a bit snotty. I mean, it's a hipster bar. They make puns out of all their menu items and beers, which is cute I guess. Definently worth a trip every now and again though. read more

I love Blatt. I don't eat here enough. Great happy hour menu! Even my boys love it. We usually hit the one near Lakeside. The chicharones are good, fries are good, it's all good! Never had an issue with service. And there's a shuffle board table (that's what my boys love most). read more

This place is seat yourself, but the service is great. We were greeted soon after we sat down, and we received our food quickly. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because the classic fries (side) were very over cooked. They did not taste or look great at all. Additionally, the buns on our sandwiches were rather dry, but the actual heart of the food was great. Overall, we would still come back for drinks, but just a little wary of the food. read more

Love the food. Not a fan of the seating. We would go there more often if we could get into the restaurant but it's packed tighter than a can of sardines most of the time. We've tried showing up way early for dinner, I mean like 90 minutes early, and it was still too busy to get a table. Food was awesome BUT service was very slow last night. It was a busy nite and the noise level was way up there. Confused as to how the seating went, but manager saw us ready to leave and found us a spot. Our waiter rarely checked on us after we ordered our drinks. I had wanted to ask for some water, but , by the time I got it, our food finally came. We had no silverware to eat with, so we nibbled with our fingers for 15 min until we got anyone's attention. It took another 10 min to get silverware. Total experience was 1 hr 15 min We were with 2 teenaged grandchildren, anxious to get home, so frustration level was pretty high by the time we finally got our check. He knew we were upset with the service and wait, but never apologized, which would have helped. The manager had stopped by once , right before our food came out and we complained about the wait. It would have been nice if he had helped our waiter, who seemed overwhelmed. I would come again for the awesome food, but maybe for lunch or early dinner with just 2 of us. Mary Kay read more

I love this place!! It's my new go to for friends and family I really love their food and atmosphere! The ONLY downside is the seating....that sometimes it is hard to get a table...especially when you're with your family and you need a high chair etc. I love the concept though and is super laid back. My wife was disappointed as she wanted a vodka red bull and they not only had no red bull but no energy drinks to substitute. My family and I often dine here and have had positive experiences in the past. However, our last few visits haven't been so positive. The food is inconsistent and the service is horrible. The manager had nothing but excuses for us. My sister ordered a gluten free option because she is severely allergic, it doesn't seem to be gf and she is having a bad reaction. First time at Blatts! Overall it was a good experience. Decent service and good food! I had the Cuban and it reminded me more of a three piece hotdog.
