Came here for lunch and Minerva and giavana gave me and my coworker great service and the food was great.

Well, I need something quick to eat after a long day at the convention center and Blaze Pizza was on the way back to the hotel and let me say I am more than satisfied with the pizza that I ordered. The staff is very welcoming, especially the gentleman that was making my pizza was very helpful on explaining everything and really made me an outstanding pie with pepperoni and extra cheese. It is freshly prepared and they have a whole host of toppings that you can select from and make it your way what you like and they will do it. There is plenty of seating inside and I have some seating outside, but it was a little hot so I decided to stay inside the air-conditioned seating area and it is very clean and very presentable. Interestingly they said this Blaze is not affiliated with the mainstream Blaze where you could earn any reward points and I also believe they don't have any app specials or promotional offers and probably can't use reward points here either. First time at a Blaze Pizza! Pretty neat build your own pizza spot. It's located really close to everything Disney and if you need to you can always order ahead of time on their app and get points for your order or to get some deals. If you're not inclined to build your own pizza, there are already some preset pies that you can get as well. I rideshared here, but it looks like there's parking in the back that's shared with other businesses. There's plenty of seating inside and some seating outside, also shared with the other businesses. I visited during lunchtime on Friday and it didn't take too long. There were around 3 staff working but they were friendly and efficient. A lot of fulfilling pick up orders. Ambiance is very chill and casual. I got their limited release Sweet Heat pizza inspired by the Daredevil TV series. Everything is preset but I'm sure you can make adjustments. It's their classic dough pizza with spicy red sauce stacked with double pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, and fire side roasted pepper with a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey sauce for some sweet slow burn heat. Came out pretty quick and it's a thin crust, thin dough pizza (I prefer this), and the spiciness grows over time so it doesn't kick you in the mouth immediately. The cheese melted throughout but didn't really have that much of a "sticking" to the dough so a lot of it slid off so make sure to scoop it back on. I might have to order less sauce next time. Absolutely LOVED it here! So, as much as I have heard about Blaze, I have never actually tried it until I took a vacation out here to Anaheim and stopped at this location. I told the staff that I have never been, and the lady was SO helpful at explaining it to me. I ordered my pizza and it was quickly ready, even though the place was packed! They were really hustling back there. And the pizza.... Wow! That crust was amazing, and I love love love the whole thing. It was absolutely delicious and I needed up coming back the next day for another one. YUM YUM YUM!! Added bonus! So like a dummy, I left my wallet on the table. I didn't notice until I got to my next stop. So I drove back. Not only did someone turn my wallet in to the staff, but the staff held on to it and gladly returned it to me. How amazing is that?! I recently went to this blaze since I was in town and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. First, they have premium prices so I opted to use some flames to get some cheesy bread but upon checkout, the said, oh we don't take rewards. Huh? You can do it in the app but the cashier, Sonia, said, we removed the scanner so you can't redeem it. Wait why? So I can use them for an online order but in person you decided that you just don't want people to use rewards so you removed the scanner? But I think the bigger problem was that I only left a $1 tip on a to-go order and after that interaction, when I asked for everything well done, they purposely did the opposite. I was planning a day trip to Anaheim, and I had a free pizza reward to claim by the end of the month. There's a Blaze Pizza in Anaheim, and it has always interested me ever since I've known about it. From a birds eye view, it almost seems like this Blaze Pizza is part of the Hyatt Hotel, and for quite some time, I almost thought I wouldn't ever visit it if I wasn't visiting Disneyland in the process. That, or I'd have to pay for parking at a nearby Disneyland lot just to eat pizza, which would have been a silly idea. As I took a closer look at parking, it seemed I could circumvent having to pay for parking, even if it meant a last resort of parking at the nearby Gardenwalk. The Hyatt Hotel does have parking, but when I looked at Google Streets, there didn't appear to be that many in the lot; not only that, but several of those spots were 30-minute spots for Walgreens. The Gardenwalk allows for an hour of free parking, and I almost thought this review would turn into a race* against time where I'd park my car, run to Blaze Pizza, get my pizza, run back to my car, and hope that I can get out before I have to pay for parking. Luckily, when I rolled through the Hyatt Hotel tunnel, I saw two empty parking stalls right in front of me! As soon as I got out, I tried entering Blaze from the back side, but realized that was the exit lol. I went around to the entrance, noticing something odd about the setup upon entry. There was a payment terminal at the start of the line, which almost made me think the actual end of the line was the start! Usually at other Blaze Pizza locations, you pay at the end of the line, but at this location, you're asked to pay up front. Or in my case, scan my reward QR code. I thought I would have started building my pizza by then, but I was told to wait. Turns out there was a family sitting at a nearby picnic table waiting to build their pizzas. They do ask for your name up front so that when they're ready to build your pizza, they'll call your name. It was a pretty big family, so I had to wait about 8 minutes before an employee (Sonia?) was ready to build my pizza. Sonia portrayed okay service overall, but more dull than lively. However, definitely not a deadbeat as she had a rather suave way of building my pizza. I was dismayed (again) that she didn't add much pesto to my pizza, so I'm led to believe this is a norm at Blaze Pizza where if you ask for Pesto sauce, they skimp on it. Sonia was building another pizza at the time, so when I saw her add pepperoni to a pizza when I didn't ask for that topping, it had me confused until she mentioned it was for another customer. I tried to make her job a little easier by saying "all the vegetables except for banana peppers." She asked if I'd like pickles, and she also left out the three veggie toppings closer to the meat. Had I not kept an eye on that, I would have missed it. I think she also missed the sweet red peppers, but I didn't bother to ask. I asked her how long I'd have to wait, and she estimated about 15-20 minutes since the pizzas from the first family were being baked. I noticed a keypad on the restroom door, so I had to ask her for the code. The restroom wasn't very clean, and it didn't have any paper towels. I had to use some toilet paper to open the door to keep my hands clean. The wait was really only a dozen minutes, but Sonia handed me my finished pizza without asking me for the finishes, which were listed on the pickup counter. I had to ask for the finishes I wanted: Buffalo, Ranch, and Arugula. The Buffalo sauce looked a little suspect since it appeared pretty watery. Another gripe I have about the pizza was that the bump ticket was directly underneath the pizza crust! Compared to the pizza I got from the San Clemente location, this one was better, but I felt it wasn't baked long enough to get that crisp that Blaze Pizza is known for. I know my pizzas have more toppings than the usual, but I felt a couple more minutes in the oven would have further enhanced the crisp of the crust. The toppings themselves were just fine. But sheesh, $16.99 for a pizza when it would have cost $13.99 in Cerritos or Seal Beach? I suppose the close proximity to Disneyland may be a reason, but if not for my free pizza reward, I certainly wouldn't spend that much for an 11" BYO thin crust pizza. MOD Pizza now offers a weekday lunchtime special where you can get that plus a beverage for $5 less. Blaze Pizza should do something similar to counter that. Nevertheless, it's not a bad place if you're visiting Disneyland, want some pizza, and don't want to pay for overpriced eats inside the amusement park. * Looking at the time stamps on my photos, I believe I would have made it out of the Gardenwalk within the allotted hour of free parking had I parked there instead, so if you really can't find a parking spot within the Hyatt or anywhere else nearby, you could try the Gardenwalk. If you do go over one hour, the parking fee would be $4 there. read more

Just a short walk from Disney Resort, this is a great spot to enjoy a value priced meal. Lots of space and air conditioning that's on full blast, you'll be super chill here even though the place is called Blaze. The staff are friendly, welcoming and super patient. Be sure to download the app to save $5 off your first order. Thank me later. I ordered a pizza and cheese bread which was just enough for my kiddos to enjoy. The cheese bread came with sauce. Their four cheese pizza was good at least for my kids in terms of their standards. My 3yo daughter said, "so good Daddy!" A little disappointed that they didn't honor the pi-day promotion. It's in a busy location, downstairs from hotel and next to the Walgreens and Starbucks. This makes parking a pain point, if you are coming during lunch or dinner hours, it's gonna be a pain to park, it's gonna be busy. With Blaze, you gotta get the app. You gotta order on the app or it's gonna be a wait. You also gotta get the deals on the app, otherwise you will pay a lot for a pizza. Sometimes you just want to get your $3.14 pi-day pizza and instead you wait in line and find out you can't and that they will charge you nearly $20 for a build you own pizza. Only to find out two days later they offer a 2 pizza (any kind, any toppings), 2 drink, 2 dessert special for $30 (again, you gotta use the app) but you got three ppl so it only works for two of you and your extra person will cost you another $30 to get the same damn thing as the two of you! Just do better. And a cup holder for drinks would help too. read more

The only reason we ordered from them for pick up was for convenience as we were so close by. We ordered a large 4 cheese pizza and the total came out to $28. Stopped by at this blaze location after a long day at Disney while the pizza was alright the unsweetened tea smelled and tasted like absolute toilet water (not an exaggeration). After tasting it I realized the smell was coming from the tea that was not properly closed from the top of the dispenser. I went to tell the lady working the counter about it and she said she would check the tea but never came during the time it took me to eat my pizza, I actually had to warn another customer to not drink the tea that he had just poured into his cup, also I should add this customer also thought it smelled like toilet water. read more

I haven't been to blaze in 5 years and wow the changes are disappointing For started I just paid $6 extra for gluten free crust, was asked to confirm if it was an allergy or not (it is) and then watched as she prepared a regular crust pizza by dowsing her hands with flour and then using the same gloves to put my cheese and toppings all flour laced onto my pizza. Walked in last week for a slice on a random morning through out the week and was greeted by a girl named Jada ! She was absolutely the best ! We talked about the gym and anime ! (Reminded me of bisky from HunterxHunter) she was a dope vibe ! Also helped me out with every question I had and made me feel welcomed and comfortable in every way, She recommended the meat lovers pizza , and came out perfect ! She helped me from the beginning of creating my pizza till the end where she cooked and cut my pizza to perfection, sometimes my life's unfair but Jada made my life feel fair that day, I would eat 1000 pizzas if they were made by her each time, great pizza, great employee and even better shift lead, location is right by Disneyland bottom of Hyatt hotel, I recommend mornings for fast paced pizza orders! Hope this place was only more expensive due to its proximity to disney land. Will need to check how pricing is at non tourist spots. Pizza was okay. I ordered the unlimited toppings pizza and the worker who prepared it was a bit too conservative with how much of each topping they put on. Workers also seemed a bit unhappy working there so service was not that good. Not sure if being near disneyland has a part in that. Pizza takes about 10 minutes to bake in the pizza oven. Pizza starts at $15 and up to $23. Great location for after spending a day at Disney. read more

Haven't been to Blaze in over a year since their prices shot up drastically. But being in close proximity to Disneyland, we decided to leave the park for an hour to treat ourselves to some Blaze. It hasn't changed - still delicious and tasty. This particular Blaze is very much like the other ones I've been to, very open dining area with plenty of seats. The team at this location provided excellent service creating at atmosphere that was friendly and providing a welcoming and helpful service. The prices were reasonable for the size and quality of the pizza. The salad was not bad although I probably would have exchanged the dressing with a more of Greek-tasting dressing; the one on it tasted like a sweet balsamic which was not the best choice for the type of salad. The restaurant was clean and bright, with comfortable seating. And the employees were friendly and looked happy to be working there. :-) The only thing I'd suggest is to have paper towels in the bathroom as there was none. This is a chunk of slimy mold I saw come out of the ice machine into my cup on Thursday night 10/16. I did not continue to drink anything from here. I always enjoy customizing my meals, and Blaze is nearly perfect for that purpose. They offer great options including vegan and paleo, which few other pizza places offer. I had an opportunity to dine at the Anaheim location recently while there for a conference, and I ordered the cauliflower crust pizza with vegan cheese for a dairy-free experience. Very tasty as long as you pile on the fixins! The service was attentative, and the vibe was great. My pizza became a bit pricey, but I definitely got what I wanted! Give Blaze a try next time you want an unusual pizza or are picky about the types and quantities of toppings. You can't go wrong! read more

Blaze pizza is our favorite especially cos of the vegan options they have a thick dough the "high rise" that is actually vegan friendly which is rare. This location by Disneyland, however... we went once and they didn't have vegan cheese. Didn't specify why or if they ran out "we don't have it". Ok. How do they justify the price of upgrading the crust to any other crust that isn't original hand tossed? Gluten free, cauliflower, or "hi- rise" crust is a 6 DOLLAR UP CHARGE! How is that okay? Other locations charge 2.99. Build your own starts at $16 so if u want to modify the crust, you're paying 6 extra dollars total $22 plus tax for one build your own pizza. This Blaze is below the Anaheim Islander Inn & Suites. There's an entrance at the street facing Katella Ave, and one facing the long parking lot at the back. There are some 30 minute only spots, and there is a good amount of parking spots, but there are a few other businesses there, and a lot of the spots were taken up by arriving hotel guests, so it may be tough to find a parking spot. Blaze will be having their discounted $3.14 pies on National Pi Day which is March 13th, but today we paid full price, and still worth it! I've always loved this pizza place. It's one price for all the toppings you could want! Best to get their app to earn rewards for free drinks, and pizza. They'll also have 1/2 birthday dessert rewards, random dollar off, and double flames days. read more

Blaze pizza! One of the best pizza places! I love going to Blaze. Also, their rewards system is one of the best ones out there! They have an awesome lunch special which is between 12-4pm their half moon pizza is $5 with unlimited toppings (you can also pay more for an upgraded crust such as GF/keto/etc). But if I'm feeling super hungry then I'll do the full size for $11. Either way, it is a great price point for the quality and portion you get! Customer service is always on point when I come.
