Blaze increased their prices again. Probably in response of the higher minimum wage for California. I will Likely eat out even less because of the higher prices. Now onto the food, I ordered two pizzas, one for the hubby and one for myself. I'm very disappointed. They overloaded the pizzas with lots of cheese, not a lot of toppings. This is their way of cutting cost and afford more minimum wage workers. I literally have to pluck off the extra cheese from my veggie pizza. It's disgusting , they are trying to kill their customers by clogging up our arteries. So I can't use the convenient online order option. I now have to watch them make my pizza to avoid these people using their cost saving tactics. Also I asked for extra mushrooms on my pizza, which they ignored. Also asked for roasted broccoli which they didn't put any. My husband's roasted chicken is undercooked. Disgusting experience. read more

Visited Blaze last night and ordered spice pepperoni pizza and cheesy bread. Cheesy bread was all grease. Both my son and I woke up with stomach (diarr@@@) issues. Not sure if it was the pizza or cheesy bread but not a great experience. Also - let's just say the restaurant itself was dirty - looked like there is little to no cleaning by staff. If I could give a zero, I would. I continue to have problems with receiving the correct order. Tonight, I placed an order for delivery from the Blaze website, but only received 1/4 of the order. When I called (while the delivery person was still here) I was told that the rest of my order was still at the store and that I could pick it up. If I wanted to pick it up, I would have saved the extra $11 I paid for delivery and tip and picked it up. Then I was told that I could wait until tomorrow and talk to a manager...because that fixes feeding my family tonight. It's a joke! I'm really never a complainer, but since I see yall have been giving responses to reviews on here, I'm just wondering what the point of ordering ahead of time and having a scheduled pick-up if the customer will still have to wait an extra 20-30mins after the schedule pick up time? I came to pick up my order and was treated very dismissively by a male employee wearing a beanie. There was Absolutely no acknowledgement of the fact that I had to wait a long time after my pick-up time. I get being busy, especially during the dinner hour, so just a simple "we're running behind on orders but we are working on it" goes a long way. I was just left there waiting with absolutely no acknowledgment or heads up on my order and was in fact just dismissed. Very poor customer service. UPDATE: 30 mins after being told to just "wait for my name to be called when my order is ready" by male employee with beanie, I decided to go back up to pick-up area to get some kind of update. Male employee with beanie asks me what my name is for the order, apparently having no memory of telling me to wait for the order after I told him my name when I first got there 30mins prior. So I tell him the name, he walks to the back, lo and behold my order had been ready the entire time. So not only was me waiting 30 extra mins completely unnecessary, but also male employee with beanie didn't follow through with what he instructed to do, which was to wait for my name to be called. My order was just sitting there. Two of 3 my pizzas were cold. And the only response I got: "my bad". This is completely unacceptable considering how much I paid for this meal. I get that this is fast service but what happened to it being sanitary?! Blaze Pizza is located in a great city. The restaurant itself is clean and well kept. It's spacious facility offered seating for both small and large groups. They even have a private room with tables that is great for any team party or birthday. The staff itself was kind and helpful. The pizza comes out rather quickly after your order is placed. They have plenty of options and your able to create a pizza to your liking. The pizza is thin crust style and the toppings are fresh. Would recommend this location if you're looking for a sit down pizza meal. read more

I do not recommend the La Verne location for online orders. I would recommend going to the one in Claremont if you could afford the drive. I have gone here multiple times hoping for improvement, but their online service is horrible. I often wait 20-30 minutes beyond the expected pick up time, and as I am waiting, I get an email that my pizza order was picked up!!! That seems pretty shady if they're trying to look good for upper management... case in point, I'm writing this review right now going on 30 minutes wait time beyond the what was expected... and like clockwork, an email was sent saying that the order was picked up... and no one at the location can tell me why. Don't order from this location... this is a relatively long review for me, I type real slow, and I'm still waiting... Update: 15 more minutes of waiting I finally get my pizza... I asked to speak to the manager and the workers told me there wasn't one on site. I'm refraining from swearing on this review, so I will end it here. Went in on 01-06-23 at 7 pm and was told when I got to the counter that it would be a long while until I was able to order. The guy said I have a lot of online orders ahead of you. Another guy that was pulling pizzas out of the oven heard him and said some manager told him do on walk-in, one phone order. He replied back well he never told me that. I look around and see 5 guys behind the counter no one paying at the register. The guy pulling pizzas out of the oven asked where's one of the employees and was told let me get my radar on. On this day 1/14/22 LASTEST REVIEW WOW wow how sad it is to see a place I once worked at and absolutely loved and thrived on me and teammates providing great customer service goes absolutely DOWN THE TOILET! I noticed it slowly getting worse and once Angelica thee one person I knew was giving her all to keep this place together left..it got bad. I tried to give it a few lore tries and nope ..super slow service..no sign of personalities anywhere ..was silent..and pizza not cooked ..both times I went back. ‍ Here I am last night giving them another try after not being there for months ..and same thing..The crazy part is they put a sign on door (already setting them up for failure by the way.) (see photo) saying short staff yet there are 7 employees currently working ..all moving at slugs pace ..the cook is backed up on orders cooking and prepping..not knowing who had what ..no staff looked like communicating together or working faster..I've worked there in super big crowds and events and less people and we still handle it fast and professionally and with a smile. So yes I expect a lot from these employees. I felt bad and wanted to jump behind the counter to help but couldn't and just watch the disaster unfold ..but only for so long..I gave up and left. I'm an empath so I could feel everyone in that restaurants confusion, impatience and frustration as well. WAKE UP REZA or whomever In charge now..this place is truly going up in flames and will be shut down soon if you guys don't get with it. I wish I could give negative ratings. Waited a whole hour for our order because the African American worker Rihana was giving everyone attitude and everyone was agreeing that they felt the same way. If she's gonna give everyone attitude why the is she working with customers? We spoke to multiple customers that were there and one said Rihana had gave them our order. Good pizza, but never order through their mobile app. Learned that the hard way twice now. The first time they got my order completely wrong, and took them an hour to get my food to me. The second time I I watched as my order sat there on their table as it got cold. No one acknowledged me or asked me if I needed help. It seems that their employees are not properly trained. Annoyed at one employee the other ones were cool. I didn't get her name nor do I care to know it but I had asked her to scan my phone and she refused and told me to scan my receipt so I waited for our pizza to be done and when I asked for a receipt she just gave me attitude. So I just said forget it and ask for some crushed peppers and I had ordered 3 byo and she only gave me two packets. Service is a mix of great and mediocre. Some people are attentive and cheerful and others look like they are forced to be here and you can barely hear what they are saying. Today 10/7/18 Sunday 12:30 they are having a party and look overwhelmed and backed up on orders. They are trying hard to keep up with the lunch crowd AND fill the party orders...yikes! As a walk in, I wonder why someone isn't dedicated to just the party orders (bad management) And thinking as a potential partygoer I would be stressed out about my guest's not receiving their pizzas in a timely manner... this idea is badly managed.
