I called and the woman told me it may be under warranty ( didn't even think of that) she called me back the next day, sent me pictures of what they had for me to pick from so I didn't have to go to the store. Set up and appointment and replaced the blind and the remote control. They were on time, called me first, put a cloth down before they put the ladder on it Very respectful and polite. Our call was returned immediately and Paul Craig, owner of the company, provided exceptional detail about the various products and their benefits / drawbacks. We scheduled a site visit; Paul showed up right on time with samples and guided us through the various applications. We selected the VueSafe product. Paul indicated a 2-week lead time... but as Hurricane Sandy approached Paul contacted us on Saturday morning to let us know they had accelerated production and an installer would be on-site that day. The installer, Ed, was prompt, courteous and diligent throughout the installation process. We couldn't be happier. The product is up and already we feel more secure. We selected the electric controlled roll shutter product. From our initial contact with Steve through frequent contact with the project foreman and wonderful installers, the project couldn't have gone better. The local showroom displays all the products to view, and the custom installation looks great. The shutters also seem to be excellent quality. Before the order was sent to the factory, the installers came out to review it to make sure of any special challenges or material that would be required. After installation, which they worked around our schedules, they were careful to explain proper use and maintenance as well. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their business, and realize that customer service and recommendations mean everything. We are very pleased, and look forward to the shutter protection during storm season.

Even if took 10 board feet (1 board foot = 144 cubic inches) to construct a door, at $10 /board foot that's $100 f I r the lumber. Doors starting at around $3000 is just sn astounding amount for the labor, ie assembly, milling, painting. Had seen one of their doors in the neighborhood and I stopped to inquire. Elderly woman told me she paid $9500 for 2 doors. Presumably that was including installation but possibly not.​

They provided a cloth vertical for our slider several years ago and shades for our skylights two years ago. This last product is absolutely incredible. We believe Steve recommended and product that provides insulation from the elements. We especially noticed the difference in the cooling of that area during the heat of the summer. Nothing, not even a phone call 3 weeks and 3 days later. RELIABLE: On the appointment day to measure, I had to call the no- show rep 30 minutes past appt time. The rep had forgotten the appt but agreed to drop what he was doing and arrive 45 minutes later. Hey, I thought, everyone makes mistakes. RESPONSIVE SERVICE: There is no phone number written on the proposal, and when I call a number found online, I get a voice mail. Meanwhile, this company required a 50% deposit when the door was ordered and wanted a check, not a credit card. Therefore, as the check was promptly cashed 3 1/2 weeks ago, I really have no recourse. Let's just wait and see how long it takes this company to communicate. Buyer beware.
