These people did a wonderful job. They were very conscientious and executed a clean removal of my old HVAC system and installed a new electric furnace and air-conditioning unit. They cleaned all of the work areas after and it was refreshing to have such a wonderful team. Cord was very personable and gave me a very good price for the HVAC unit. I went all electric and feel it was not only good for our environment, the gas saving actually is currently making up for the cost difference. The old furnace pipes where in a closet where I'm remodeling my home. So, after the asbestos abatement for the remodel, Blizzard came back two months later and moved the HVAC pipe into the wall. Great customer service. I had a previous incident where three different technicians were sent to my home to fix a HVAC problem. The three different technicians all came up with a different reason as to why the HVAC did not continue to run after they left. The last technician recommended that my husband and I purchase a new HVAC and provided a detail explanation as to what Blizzard would provide and the cost. After reaching out to another company for a recommendation, we were told that the HVAC did not need to be replaced, at this time, and all we needed were new batteries. The HVAC has been running continuously, since replacing the new batteries. When I wrote my second review with the problems I encountered and provided a "one" star the owner, Ricardo, reached out to me immediately to discuss the situation. After Ricardo's investigation he realized there where areas were there needs to be improvements when scheduling the technicians to ensure that the same technician covered the same situation/problem from start to finish. Ricardo agreed to return half of the money I paid, which covered the second visit. Ricardo personally came to our home to again explain what had happened and that there would definitely be changes going forward regarding how the technicians would be assigned to service calls. I appreciate Ricardo, taking the time to investigate the situation and using the lessons learned from his investigation to improve the process. Tech from Blizzard gave a wrong diagnosis and said that the furnace in the unit had no exhaust vent pipe and that there was danger of intoxication and fire. Got a second opinion from another technician the next day and they confirmed that there was in fact an exhaust vent pipe. The tech from Blizzard was in a hurry to get his money and did not bother to do his job correctly. This was an all around awful situation. read more

Ron was able describe in details what I needed and what his company offers. During the visit, Ron had gotten Luis and Ricardo on the phone to discuss pricing and product. Ricardo was able to find me a unit that was within my standards that stayed within my budget. They both worked really hard beyond their normal business hours to find what I needed. They also communicated effectively on days leading up to the project. And when I did finalized my decision, they were able to start the installation in less than a week. Our initial estimate appointment went great, they explained everything and gave us a variety of options. We were able to sign a contact that day and they provided us with scheduling options that worked with us. We had to reschedule install due to roadwork on our street, and even with that, the team was professional and worked to get us rescheduled promptly the following week. The project was scheduled to begin on a Tuesday morning at 8am and the team arrived right on time! Enrique, Francisco and Alex got straight to work and were respectful of our home by covering all areas they would be in. The team delivered quality and efficient work, completing the work in two days instead of the estimated three days. They were truly looking out for my best interest and kept me involved in the whole process explaining to me the pros and cons of trying to keep the unit alive versus the benefits of energy efficiency and a cooler home with the new unit. They inspected my home and customized a system right for me and my family's needs and got the job done in a timely manner.
