I visited Didi recently to help stunt a food dependence. Having never experienced hypnotherapy I wasn't sure what to expect. The session was very thorough. We analyzed patterns, feelings, and routines surrounding my food addiction. The hypnosis was very interesting. I found Didi extremely knowledgable; she's excellent at explaining brain patterns and she's very easy to be around. I was quite embarrassed and feeling a lot of shame and Didi washed that away. I have been to see Didi for several things... one was a lifelong fibromyalgia, body pain with no explanation. She eliminated it in a single session and even found the root cause for me, which was remarkable and interesting. A separate time I was having issues with some very specific (and fattening) food addictions and was unable to stop them on my own, in spite of knowing a lot about nutrition. I asked Didi to give me aversions to the foods, because I did not want to eat them any more and actually WANTED to be totally disgusted and unable to eat those really unhealthy things. I don't write many reviews but I really wanted to write one about Didi Vergados at the Bloom Center For Hypnotherapy. She really helped me get on the right path with my weight loss. Before I went to her I had been on every kind of diet. Some successful but ultimately always gaining the weight back. Using hypnosis and coaching Didi really helped me get in the right frame of mind to lose the weight and keep it off. To date I have lost 40lbs and have another 10-12 lbs. to go. I did it gradually but this is what has allowed me to keep the weight off without going on a diet and most importantly without feeling bad all the time. I have been having a very hard time with binge eating and weight management for the past couple of years. I would say due to binge eating I gained a solid 30lbs over a year or so. Then I started yo-yo dieting, I would eat good and exercise and lose 15lbs in a couple of months then immediately start binge eating and gain it all back. It was a pretty bad cycle. I have seriously tried EVERYTHING to get this under control. Then I came across a podcast with Didi being interviewed about using hypnotherapy for weight management. I thought, why not give it a shot, I have spent so much money and time on other things, the very worse thing that could happen is it not work. I contacted her and I started to notice improvement after my very first session. I have now done 4 sessions, and have had a lot of improvement. I no longer binge eat, I stop when I am satisfied, I am now training my brain to crave healthy things such as working out and healthy food for energy. The very best thing is I do this all in the comfort of my own home! I live in the United States, so we do our sessions over skype. I strongly recommend hypnotherapy for anyone who is having trouble getting control over themselves. I can totally see how this could help with other issues also. I can't say enough good things about my work with Lesley. What a warm, caring and intuitive soul she is. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 3 years when I found her.
