When I got home from work on my doorstep were beautiful flowers with a gift. Turns out they were not for me and the address on the card does not exist. I called Bloom Flowers to let them know. They did end up finding the correct person, who does actually live close to me. I came across Bloom Flowers while searching florists online and loved the pictures of their flowers. They seem to be a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. I am not very good with "designing" my own arrangements, so went ahead and gave them a call. I was guided over the phone by the sales associate who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Not only was he just a pleasure to work with but his artistic genius in helping us design our dream wedding really did come true ;-) My husband and I got married at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx so he really played with garden theme which already existed at our venue and incorporated other garden sunset themes into the colors and inspiration for the day. He helped us with everything from the bridal and wedding party bouquets to the groomsmen boutineers to the tables-capes and the gorgeous outdoor Chuppah (which he created from scratch on the day of the wedding). We could not have been happier with his customer service and ideas. He is really an artist first and is able to blend your ideas with his own to create the most stunning floral arraignments and scenic designs. Wandered in to grab a quick congratulations gift for my spouse. I saw beautiful arrangements. I was surprised at the price of a small bouquet in a vase that I picked up ($200) so went to look at the wrapped flowers ($50 and $85 depending on size). I asked nicely why the flowers were so expensive (from a value perspective I assume there is some reason these are twice the price as a corner store -- and maybe for good reason). Clerk was extremely snobby, mumbled rudely under his breath, and didn't answer. So I wouldn't recommend for a quick gift or good service. Maybe that's not their focus. I'll never go back for anything and will be sure to share with others. The storefront is a huge open space thoughtfully decorated and studded with elaborate flower arrangements. You will want to take everything home! Unfortunately, it's also ridiculously expensive, though not necessarily overpriced. And BEWARE of their (no)"Return Policy." Someone had purchased a stunning art-piece of a lamp for me as a gift there last year for my birthday. The sales person convinced him that this lamp was so special, it needed it's own pedestal to go with it. Said pedestal cost him approximately $1500! I had nowhere to put this pedestal in my tiny NYC apartment and immediately tried to return it. I made several calls to them but kept getting the runaround and was told I had to speak to the owner who was conveniently not available for any of my calls. I got the owners email, sent a detailed note, and NEVER heard back. After several weeks of failed attempts at returning it, I was told the return policy which is: no returns, exchanges only, within 14 days of purchase, and must be accompanied by a receipt. How was I to return this item to them within 14 days when they couldn't even return a call?! Not to mention, it was a gift for which I didn't have a receipt. I just asked that the original credit card be credited back within a reasonable time frame. Apparently, that was too much to ask for. As for that beautiful pedestal, it now sits in a storage facility indefinitely. read more

The price is very reasonable for the... not only top quality flowers.. but the life you get out of them as well. These flowers are beautifully arranged and well cared for. Only one time I received a beautiful bouquet for Mother's Day and the flowers wilted early, but the customer service from Chris was amazing and they sent a new arrangement out to me the next day. Bloom's flowers and service are second to none. Earlier today, my wife's first Mother's Day, Christopher saved the day. Our flowers arrived this morning as scheduled, but our intercom system was down. They attempted to call my cell multiple times while I was in the shower getting ready for our brunch reservation, so the delivery person left. By the time I realized they had called me it was 30 minutes later and their driver was in the middle of one of the busiest days of their year. I called back and explained my situation to a gentleman by the name of Chris. He made sure our flowers arrived 20 minutes later. I went to this store recently, and was in a great mood before coming in. However, on arrival my experience was awful. First I was ignored when asking a question. There was even anyone in the shop! When I was finally help, the person who rung me up (I'm fairly certain this was the owner) over charged me. When I called it out, she was reluctant to recheck her calculations and insisted she was correct! After she attempted to correct I looked at the bill again and now there was a new mistake. If it was $2-$5 mistake, i wouldn't have made a huge deal because at this point I only wanted to get out of there. But it was a $16 overcharge. There was no making sense of this, and it very much felt like I was intentionally being mistreated and taken advantage of. I do not recommend this shop to anyone, they are not good people. Bloom was recommended and I happily gave the store my business. Over the phone I placed a small order for delivery within Manhattan - the flowers were beautiful. The reason for one star... customer service. For over one month I have been trying to get my receipt. I have spoken to everyone at the location and received several excuses including "we're moving," to "it's hard to find receipts." I was shocked by the last one and can't imagine how a business can be run in such a disorganized manner. I've been promised calls back and my receipt on several occasions. One call back out of at least eight calls and no receipt yet. I used this company for business and will never again rely on their services. I received the most exquisite floral arrangement that my son sent me for Mother's Day. It was made up of mini pink calla lilies and pink hydrangeas and artistically arranged. Sadly after just three days the hydrangeas died. I called Bloom and explained the situation to Maria who, without any hesitation, offered to send me a new flower arrangement. The next day the arrangement came and it was as beautiful as the original one. I was so impressed with the way they handled this situation. This is possibly one of the best florists I have ever had the privilege of using. A friend recommended Bloom to me, and I have not strayed from them since. I have been using Bloom's excellent florist services for almost 6 months now and can honestly say that they will do ANYTHING for customer satisfaction. I have worked with Christopher and Susannah many times, as I tend to buy large and last minute floral orders which they complete, no sweat. My favorite I have to say is Christopher, who has bent over backwards making sure my flowers get even to BROOKLYN on time- that is serious dedication to customer satisfaction. Not to mention their impressive and beautiful selection of flowers they have available (or with enough time can specially and personally pick up for you!!) - they create the most unique and beautiful arrangements I have ever seen.
