Nail artist unprofessional, rescheduling appointments regularly and money hungry. Hair stylist refused to fix her error within 48 hours of my cut. Definitely will not be returning to this salon! The worst customer service and expensive! read more

If you want to hear all about how drunk your tech got over the weekend, come here. Or watch her eat while working on you, come here. Or see her leave for a smoke break then come back to finish, come here. Or listen as every other word could keep up with a trucker, come here. Or listen to her bash her coworkers, you should come here. If you decide to mention this behavior to the owner, don't expect her to care. I guess I shouldn't; not my bank account backing this small business. My advice- go to a place where they will be respectful & provide high quality services. A complete disgrace to the community. read more

As good as or gets ! You are treated like one of the family here . They have all the spa services a girl could want ! Their facials and microdermabrasion is outstanding . Kate does wonderful hair and the owner does all the spa services. It is a small and quite salon. Gives you that home feeling where everyone knows your name. The proves are right and you can't beat the great mother (owner) daughter personalities. A great place to bring the family. read more

Bloom Salon and Spa is a family owned boutique company that opened in 2012. Customized services offered are all hair services, including color, hi-lights, haircuts for women, men and children, and special occasion updo's, conditioning hair treatments, and hair extensions. Skin customized services include facials, all types of waxing, body treatments, relaxation massage makeup, chemical peels and resurfacing treatments. Bloom is now proud to be a full service salon/spa in 2014! Our nail technician is very experienced in acrylics, shellac, manicures and all types of pedicures. Also, we now have a full time massage therapist on staff. We feature Bioelements, Redken, and Pureology products, sell jewelry, body lotions, locally made soy candles, and much more. Come visit us in Temperance in our brand new 2000 square foot beautiful facility!

Established in 2012.

Bloom Salon and Spa is now a full service salon/spa. Our staff includes Lisa Hilkens, nail technician, Cristey Sparks, stylist, Heather Shupp, stylist, Tatum Garner, stylist, and Kate Pinkston, colorist, Teri Pinkston, Owner and Estetician, and Kristin Morrow, massage therapist. All told, our staff hold current licenses in Michigan, with combined experiences of over 35 years.

Meet the Business Owner: Teri P.

Teri has over 30 years experience in corporate management, working for several Fortune 500 companies, local companies and school systems. She was trained as a professional Makeup Artist in 1991, working her craft part time as a hobby. In 2004, Teri retired from her corporate job, attended Esthetic school full time, and turned her "hobby" into her career. Teri found her "niche", and decided to open her own business in 2012. In 2013, her daughter Kate and Teri decided to expand their ever growing business. They moved from a 750 square foot, to a 2000 square foot facility, with a full service salon, and a complete spa area as well.

I have really heavy, thick, stick straight hair, and you wouldn't believe the butcher jobs other places used to manage on it. I feel completely comfortable with her, and anymore when I go in there, I don't go with an idea - I let her do whatever she would like to my hair - it always looks good! Her salon is very serene, with calming blues on the walls, and she carries all kinds of great products (my husband is a huge fan of the Moroccan Oil). The staff (which is all her family) are very warm and friendly. I often find myself staying long after my appointment is finished, just chatting with her mother or sister! She decided to try this location because it is closer to us than Adrian was. While this place is clean and appears to be organized and professionally run by nice people, I must warn you be careful who you get. The younger inexperienced nail techs do not do as good of a job and the ones that really do a good job ( young or older) are never available because they're constantly booked. Also, she said the selection of nail polish colors is substandard compared to the average salon. Just not enough choices. For the first time in 12 years my wife experienced premature chipping. Was it a substandard product or was it a poor application? We do not know. It's going to be hit or miss here ....You may have to break out some greenbacks to convince your way into somebody's schedule, otherwise you may end up with a "lower tier" nail tech.
