When we called to ask what happened, the woman insisted she had spoken with us and that we approved the change- this never happened. We checked our phone log and only had one missed call from the shop, no voicemail. She also kept saying, "But you ordered sympathy flowers and we made them Mother's Day flowers" as if that justified the change. It was for Mother's Day-we liked that particular arrangement and the box it came with. Realistically, I think they mixed us up with another customer, which would've been understandable. Mistakes happen. But her insistence that she spoke to my husband, so much so that he had to grab the phone and say to her that they did not speak and our call log clearly proving otherwise was frustrating and bizarre. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said the owner was having surgery, which felt like an attempt to make us feel guilty for escalating the issue. When we asked for a full refund, she said we'd have to bring the flowers back for that and that she could only offer a partial refund. At that point, it became clear she was not interested in making things right. We won't be ordering from here again-not because of the mix-up, but because of the employee's unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Mistakes happen, but a lack of integrity and willing to own a mistake is unacceptable.

I believe that due to the holiday, custom arrangements were not being offered, only designers' choice. This is for YOU, the owner: When I tried to address my concerns, you continuously interrupted me, forcing me to shout, "Are you going to let me finish speaking?!" And before you "try" to make this appear that "the customer was already irate", let me be clear that I was very calm at the onset of my call. Instead of taking accountability, you made several excuses and only offered a pathetic $8 refund for the balloon. When I pointed out that the flower arrangement looked off-kilter and skimpy for the price, you dismissed my concerns, saying, "It's the designer's choice." I also tipped the florist, making this even more frustrating. I want my tip back too! You need to work on your communication skills and actually making things right with customers instead of talking over them and offering weak refunds. I am not new to ordering flowers. WildFlower may look like the average retailer from the outside but once inside you are transported to a gorgeous wonderland. The store is much larger than I anticipated. While I thought it was just a florist I discovered it is also a gift shop. Regarding floral services, I selected a lovely arrangement from the large cooler with a variety of bright gerbera daisies in it. There were several florists on site very busy making arrangements so I could have had a custom arrangement made but there was no need since the cooler selection offered plenty of options. Regarding gifts, they carry some of my very favorite brands and artists. Some of my favorites are Jellycat plushes and the Jellycat plants they had here were so cute! Jellycats always have great expressions and the fabrics feel so good. They also have various items from local artist Kim Hovell like candles wrapped in her Chesapeake Bay inspired oyster paintings. Her work in hues of blues is always very calming. WildFlower also carries locally made artisan Choquette chocolates. When I want to give a little thank you or hostess gift I always choose choquette chocolates. There were plenty other neat gifty items and I'll definitely be returning to do a little shopping. As far as customer service goes, there were about three florists who were very focused on what they were doing and one kinda gave me a weird look, probably because I was audibly ooohhing and ahhing and taking photos of the gorgeous displays (after asking if it was ok.) There were also a few people on the floor who were very helpful. One lady in particular was my saving grace and she was super helpful and friendly as I looked to pick out a last minute gift. I really wish I had more time to wonder around WildFlower. I'll definitely be back!

My wedding was 2 month away when I found this vendor. I wish I never did. They messed up in any way…read morepossible with everything like bridal bouquet, decoration arch, centerpieces and on top of that some flowers were NOT fresh and they didn't put any greenery on the gift table which we paid for. They agreed on giving some refund back, but since then ignored emails and texts. What a service... 1. Ceremony arch. The arch at the venue has black metal plate right in the middle that I wanted to be covered with the the flowers, but it wasn't. When wedding was over I asked Kim and she told me: "I guess you didn't see it ahead of time, we would fix that for you". I was getting ready for my wedding day... And I thought that sending vendor a picture of what you want and talk it over through emails and calls would be enough. The flower person started to put arch away while we were doing photo session, and we had to ask for additional 5 minutes :( 2. Bridal bouquet. It was just a huge disappointment. I provided photo of exactly what I want, mentioned adding as an accent JUST A FEW burgundy roses, didn't wanted to be too dark. But burgindy dark roses were all over my bouquet. Peonies: Kim email me night before the wedding at 10pm that they did got peonies in little darker then expected. Peonies were WAY DIFFERENT COLOR than I wanted. They were supposed to be whitish, slightly pinkish, but they were way too dark pink :( And on top of that the worse part the bouquet was that some flowers were NOT fresh, the gardenias, yes, the expensive ones :( 3. Centerpieces. We had 2 stores restaurant and ordered 2 types of centerpieces for each floor, centerpieces for guest tables upstairs and cocktail tables downstairs. On top of having wrong peonies color, vendor mixed up the centerpieces between guest tables and cocktail tables. 4. Communication. It sometimes took 1 week to have a respond back from this vendor. The last email I wrote 2 weeks before the wedding (August 6) asking Kim how I will get my bouquet on the wedding day and I NEVER heard back from her, I just figured that one out on my wedding day. Couple times Kim sent me a very first proposal without any correction that we already did through the emails of calls. Most details I provided was just ignored :( I talked to Kim after the wedding, what was it all about and she said they had 3 event that day. Honestly, why would I care, As a customer who paid a good check expect good service in return but we had everything wrong.
