Using many flower delivery services, you have experiences with being left in the "dark" while waiting for the order to be shipped out, delivered, and hoping that the package gets to the proper location. A very polite employee (apologize that the name was not asked for during the phone call, this employee deserves recognition) contacted me in the morning asking if; anyone was going to be at the requested location for the flowers to be delivered to, what would the easiest way for the delivery to be delivered etc. Never have I felt such great care about being a customer before. This I understood and I asked if she would kindly put some water in the vase for me. Her response was that "this was not something they provided". Recently I felt the urge to purchase flowers for my girlfriend. After I gave her a little information she suggested some nice options at a price I expected to pay. It's not the cheapest thing in the world, but it's definitely worth it. The Barrington Florist is not greatly located and I wonder if many people know it exists deep in the lower levels of the Bell/Aliant building. It's also really crowded and somewhat over stocked, but I guess that means you're just more likely to get what you're looking for. I'm still not totally sold on the idea of flowers as a gift, but if I'm ever so moved to pick some up again, I know where to go.
